Cars run into strife if they haven't been maintained. I don't understand why so many people won't go over 100,000kms?! I don't care though, and won't tell them how I have had NO issues [8 cars now over 150kms] as it means I get to buy them for cheaper. My parents are prime candidates that won't buy over 70kms, and must have all these warranties. Pussies.

But a normal E30, door open or shut would still allow the windows to go up and down. I've got money on the fuse box. Fuse or relay.

Just get compasionate consideration and they'll pass ya ;P But yeah, I have the similar symptoms atm, but no bus hitting...

If an auto is in car A from factory and still drives fine when removed and placed into car B, which drives fine for 2 days then when you put it into gear it just revs, whats happened?

Or there are spots down by Vector Arena [bottom of Parnell] that you can park at for $4 a day [until 6am next day] -- right by train to Britomart of example. Grey Lynn and Mt Eden are also popular rental spots, on or off-road parking readily available as with a bus-service, 1 stage coupe bucks, working hours a bus every 5minutes?

I've DIY'd before, wouldn't recommend it unless you have someone with you who has done it, and does it well. Best to just pay someone TBH. Plenty of guys around that do it for a living. I've had quotes from Tint-a-car $500, or solo mobile guys do it for $300, or if you supplied tint, probably $200. I'd re-sell the tint as they won't be as good as what the other guys would use.

Define good knick? If NO rust underneath, that $200 tops, if just not surface rust or dents, then $150 tops.

I don't own any property yet. I'm looking at going in mid-next year when sh*t hits the fan. Consider going in with others, do your homework. Italy would be fine, if you consider staying there. Otherwise, newbies should stick to home turf that you know and can check up on. I don't think you will make mega bucks on your first few houses unless you can do most of the work yourself. When I was as naive, I got zapped by the same camera once a day, for three days. Brilliant when the letters came in each day a week or two later. Week before I got pinged for a red-light too. That was pivital in my driving, and since will only speed when I know there are no cameras around (JK).
