  1. We're going to remove the engine and transmission from it this Friday. Would want $350 for the box alone if you are going to pick up?

    Super DIY weekend

Previous owner of my E36 coupe used zip ties to hold the door card back just like your situation. So now I have holes in my card :\ Tidy work though!
  3. Yeah I guess thats true. I know people who have mates into one thing (ie: one person does it, everyone else copies.) Guess this is similar. ;P Only said that for a joke mate. Old is really 30 Well, in that case -- what'd they offer you? I'll be a boy racer, give you $500? I thought you did ask my opinion on how much it was worth, I then broke it down and gave reasons for my costings??? Loving the theme bro!

    E30 325I

Busy front yard! Nicely matched, E30 10points, Alfa 1 for the entry.
  5. Car (A) I have no idea. Depends on the buyer's intentions... Car (, if one was to do such work you're doing, could be just as easy to find another car (shell) that is straight (plenty around). The engine and transmission (complete) could fetch YOU $1,200 - $1800+. But in saying that, you could get a similar price with a car of higher kms... Working to a budget, I wouldn't buy that car. With no budget, just buy it...
  6. I've seen one old guy (40yo) driving a "pimped" E30 similar to above, I think it was a budget mid-life crisis. I reckon people do it simple because they have a spare couple hundred and just want to tart up there car somehow with no real thought put into the decision making process. No matter wqhich way you look at them (even in the dark) they look like crap.
  7. What younger market are you talking about? No-one I know (I'm 20) would want that car as is. I'd sell the car stock for $2.2 - 3.2k and flog the ugly wheels & lights off seperately! Would leave you with around $4.2k in your pocket if you don't sell in a rush.

    E30 Subwoofer Carpet

2 left. $40 to match your sub box with the boot carpet! (Or simply replace your orginal, or use on-top to not ruin the orginal etc).
  9. Huh? Thought I meant tubro a standard M30 (in an E30) So today, it was yesterday, but yesterday is today? Believed to be the whole car. Me is interested in it also.

    tow bars

I had a quote from one of the main companys for a fantastic $800 + gst. I had a couple bars that I sold for $50ea. for the E30s after that (factory nz made), so maybe look around on TradeMe for one?
  11. Sold 2x working M10s for $300 for example last weekend I'm personally looking into a turbo project keeping it BMW powered too... M30 is what I'm thinking...
  12. We have one still in car if you'd like to test.
  13. I doubt one would have a current running through the car 24/7, therefore would still have a standard colour.

    f**k sake

Would of been a bigger mess without the tints.
  15. Is there anyway we can ban people who ask these SAME questions 5 times a week? Surely we can ask a question on registration: True or False; Can a super low car have super dober handling with cheap Jamex springs?
  16. Put it this way, if you cause an accident with a car that low and injure someone else, you're an absolute waste of space. All you are doing is to get "street credit". Fkn dumb for a daily to be so low.
  17. Whats your TradeMe name?

    f**k sake

f**k dude, I'll help you install the replacement glass if you need a hand.
  19. I have 3 sets of boot carpets out of 5 left. People seem to be using them to wrap their sub-boxes in, and I think that's a great concept! Can really tidy the boot, and even look factoryish. Let me know if anyone wants one, price on application. I have a few other E30 parts available, let me know!
  20. If you're only poaching parts, can you still import a car into NZ that doesn't meet regulations (ie: importing a damaged car)? Should then be able to sell parts off it to make but some monies, rest parts you can use in the e-dirty, then sell the shell to someone. Hrm.
  21. IMO, I'd be very weary when buying 2nd hand audio gear. I'd never buy speakers as you don't know what you're getting (Although I've had no problem selling my 2nds). Basically, I'd check out nziceforums.co.nz, they know everything, state what you want etc, and go from there. Taking into account whether you are installing or someone else. (Guys on that forum would even do a cashie as alot are auto sparkies or what have you (Qualified) or just peeps who know what they're doing.
