very nice choice i had a hard time trying to decide between the car i now own and a e39 540 as soon as i can afford another nice car a 540 will be my daily.

car looks really good mate but i would say that. after all i did buy them new for my m3. Ill have to put some recent pics of mine up its starting to look very different to how it used to. the guards are a full inch wider on each side now and iv put some 17" BBS RX's on it now but in 5 series offset to increase the track its starting to look pretty angry.

there is a really good place on target rd i forget the name of it but iv seen plenty of the work they have done and they always seem to do a good job. its the driveway next to furnature city two busines's back from the road.

for me its the fact that i finnaly own the car i allways wanted as a kid when i watched the brit touring car series on the box with my old man. then theres the speed oh the handling the looks the interior the list gos on and on somtimes i find my self in my garage just staring thinking to myself what it would look like with slicks and a cage. i cant help it im an m3 addict. trouble is now i want an e30 to match my e36.

gas is a non issue the m3's full time toy now its no daily driver. Thanks for that ill give him a call im on the shore to so that makes life easy.

im pretty sure its the diff as it only clicks once per revolution and iv already removed the drive shaft if you move the weels by hand it gives a definate click in the same place each revolution. are you 100% certan about the 3.45 doing 245 at 7G because the standard one is about 2900 - 2800 "give or take" at a 100 kph and its got about 255 at 7G at the moment in 5th. do you think lowering the ratio a bit will make much difference is it worth it??

depends greatly on how empty the road is and who is in the car, empty road+ empty car =fun times however full road or daughter in car =granny mode all the way.

Hey guys Thought Id throw this to the masses to get some feedback. my 3.0e36 m3's diff started clicking quite badly the other day so iv parked her up and can't decide. Should I fix it back to standard spec or take to it and fit a lower ratio set of splines for better in gear pull. Also can somone please tell me what ratio the standard one is and if i wanted it to hit 240kph in 5th at 7G what ratio do you think i would need to cange it to. And who would be the best shop to take the diff to to have this kind of work carried out???
