Agreed. Its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That car has been sitting around there for quite a while... You'd probably own it for 6 or 7, which realistically (IMHO) is what its worth.

I love that leather! Is it NZ new?

Anyone got a spare $55k for a Fairlady Z Roadster ?
jjs replied to RvT's topic in General Discussion
Won't comply as it has no drivers airbag. This car is the definition of "rice" -
I wonder how long your car would last parked somewhere with this number plate.... TM Link

Yeah, I think it varies with warranty companies. I looked into getting an Autosure and the requirements were for it to be serviced every 10,000kms or within manufactures specified intervals. I don't think servicing intervals are dictated by marketing. Reliability of vehicles is worth so much more in the long run to manufacturers. BMW and also Mercedes with the active service systems would ensure the vehicle is maintained when it should be. Also, I would tend to trust BMW's claimed serving requirements more than those of your local grease monkey!

Far out, that is immaculate! IMHO it would look ten times better with original period wheels. There should some trainspotter out there who will wet themselves when they find this beauty!

Or what about this one --> TM Link In one shot it looks like its cocking a leg to take a piss....
-
:puke: Im sorry, but that is horrid. Would look ten times better with "normal" wheels and proper suspension...

Do you think the falling price of E36 M3's will affect the price of E30 325iM's?
-
Yeah M3's have taken a hit recently. You can often pick up an E36 M3 for not much more than a 328i M/Sport. I predict E46's to drop even further due to it not being the current shape anymore.

Remember, thats nearly 18 years old...

Well, a guess "credability" shows how easy a typo is!
-
Yeah thought that would be the case. I owned a Passat 1.8T - horrible car.
-
If you find one for $20k let me know!!!!!!
-
Mate of mine is looking at a W8 Passat. Has anyone here driven one, or owned one? How would it compare to a 540i (which Im pushing him to buy)?
-
Im not sure if this has been done before, but I'm kinda bored and just thought of this hypothetical question. If you had $10k, what would you buy? $20k? $100k? Think outside the square guys, it may hard, but it doesn't have to be a BMW. Well, to start off.... I would have: $10k - BMW 328i Coupe (pref manual) $20k - Audi S3 or possibly an M3 Evo $100k - Porsche 911 (996) or an Audi RS6 (see its hard trying to think past BMWs!)

Best way to lower 1996 E36 Coupe??

Oh, and forgot to add this... Something for the Audi lovers out there!

Exam study procrastination is fun! Found these great desktop wallpapers at www.carwalls.com, seem to thousands of good quality wallpapers there.... Enjoy

Check the batteries. Mine did the same thing, with range slowly reducing. If that doesn't work, a BMW dealer will reprogramme the keys for you at little cost

Hahahahaha

I hear JC is on Hell's Kitchen this week with Gordon Ramsey. Should be interesting!

Good to see you have gone for OEM-ish wheels. I have seen plenty of SLK's ruined with horrid aftermarket chromies, worse still spinners! I second the other comments, would look even bet with a wee drop. Car looks mint, you must be stoked.

Will look good when its resprayed in a non-Holden colour
