This happened to me. You will need to go to a BMW dealer and get them to reprogramme it, as sometimes the keys fall out of synchro with the car. Costs bugger all too

How come under one username you are selling the E200 $1 reserve, and the other asking for a Merc W124 engine in the "Wanted" category.... What are the details on the E36?

I wonder if you ordered a new car from a US dealership, they would allow you to have in manufactured in RHD? I heard someone saying that Porsche might do this. The nicely optioned 335i example above at $48k works out to be just under $65k NZD. (www.xe.com) Add GST = $73,125 Add shipping = $76k ish..... Or, from bmwusa.com a new M5 is $82,900. Thats less than $130k to your door in NZ.

Went to the auction... The wheels are proper Hartge's. The car was quite tidy, with only defects (I could see) being ripped upholstery and a bit of paint fading. Passed in at $2500

Has anyone looked at or bought a $1 reserve car from camstain1 on TradeMe? They also go by the name Oval and have the website www.oval.co.nz. They seem to sell about a dozen fresh imports at no reserve every week. Lots of E36 BMW's too. I see they sell some very cheap cars on there, but their feedback is mixed (looks like there are a few lemons amongst them). Just interested to hear your experiences / thoughts.

I just say that as its often not worth the investment repairing. What year / engine is it?
