    For Sale...

Just out of curiosity, have you had much interest / any offers?
  4. In my opinion, id whack it on trademe for $5k and take anything over $4k. The reason for this is the sheer amount of them for sale at the moment. Ex-Singapore takes away a bit, but leather certainly adds value. What colour is it and is it auto or manual? I can't think of anything that would increase the value for a small outlay. Anything that is going to drastically improve the appearance is gonna cost over $500. In my experience though, the best outlay i've spent is getting an AA check. It relaxes buyers and shows them you've got a good car.
  5. Done. Everyone vote 0 or 1 for the other cars which are in the top few!
  6. Spotted this on TM.... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-112228231.htm
  7. Looks great. I think it depends a lot which letters / numbers you have. Some look very similar to NZ spec, whereas others don't

    Whats this worth?

Well... the car at turners was a 95 318i manual NZ new traveled 172km and passed in at $3200
  9. I saw a white Gallardo when I was in Sydney last, stunning!

    Whats this worth?

Yeah, even just colour coding it and updating alloys ($500) would dramatically change. Might have to go and throw on a bid!
  11. I think the white looks stunning! Everyone has either black or silver....

    BMW Art Car Model

Hey guys im putting this model up for sale. You may think it is a bit dear... Im very attached to it and won't let it go for peanuts, hence the higher price... Feel free to make me an offer. Trade me link
  16. Yeah thats ex dealer... seems quite dear to me. Do you think these are over priced? I was thinking under $500
  17. Have a 96 328i on its way.....

    e36 stuff

How much for the roof racks? What model do they fit? 2dr/4dr? Got any pics? Thanks
  20. Only when cold, there is a bit of a jolt when changing from 1st to 2nd also
  21. Im looking at a 328i 1995 import with a gearbox issue.... When changing from first to second it at times won't do so until high revs (about 5-6). If you let off the accelerator it will change fine. There are no other gearbox issues apart from this. Is this terminal? You experiences?

    FS: '94 320i E36 Coupe

I take it that its a 1800? NZ or import? How muchare you thinking?
  23. Good work. The guys there do a great job. Lucky you got in so early, they are usually well booked out in advance.
  24. Page European are fantastic. Specialise in older BMW's
  25. I cannot understand why eveyone is putting such high values on these cars. Does this 325i come with magic seeds in the glove box?? The realisable value of an E30, regardless of its spec is low. Remember we are talking about 17+ year old cars. The last E30 I bought was a mint 1989 NZ New f/l 318i in Diamond Schwartz with 150km, it cost $1200. I can't see how a 325i at $8k is a "good buy". I also sold my 95 E36 325i (SA) which was also mint for $5200 earlier this year. If you looked hard enough, im sure you could find a NZ 328i for less than $8k. Whilst I think a M325i is a fantastic car, I wouldn't pay anything like $15k for one. It doesn't make sense to me, especially when you can buy a E36 M3 for not much more. The reason I think the silly values are popping up on this site is that they are being posted by E30 owners. It is only natural to value something you own artificially high, whether it be to make yourself feel better about how much money you've pumped into yours or to lead people to think it is the market price come sale time. I guess like anything in life, the value of something is purely what the highest bidder offers you for it. However, if you are willing to pay silly money for an E30, beware it may be difficult to recoup it later down the track.
