    1994 Jeep Cherokee

Good on the open road, but not too good around town. I would say comparable to similar 4x4's and a little more thirsty than a Commodore or Falcon
  2. Very interesting.... All the journalists who claim the new 335i coupe is the firt turbocharged BMW since the 2002 must be wrong!

    1994 Jeep Cherokee

Hi all A bit cheeky me listing this on bimmersport, but im trying to sell it so I can buy another BMW. I said goodbye to the E36 325i a few months ago, and bought the Jeep to tie me over... God I miss the BMW! Anyway... the Jeep is very tidy and is the high spec limited version. It has a 4.0 straight six, drives like a dream and has travelled 175k. The trademe link is below. This would be a good car to tow your e30 race car with as it has been set up with a aftermarket transcooler and a heavy duty tow bar $3900 ono - Would also look at trading on a 325, 328 or 523, 528 http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-94034101.htm
  4. Looking to buy a radar detector. I have been recommended Bel. I have been looking at the RX65, but also see the RX55 (which is quite a bit cheaper). Has anyone had experience with these detectors? Or can you tell me the difference between the two models? thanks
  5. Spotted this on eBay in Australia... eBay Is there such a thing, built from the factory?

    What have you owned?

Where did you buy your 323i race car? I have a sneaking suspicion it could be my old car...
  7. Probably need to see you local BMW centre to get it reprogrammed... Should be a quick job
  8. You are right, that one is an import. But there is another one in indentical colour combination, with the nicer star 19" alloys and standard wheel base at the Rick Armstrong Motors yard, which is definately NZ new. The one Emma pointed out is at Armstrong Prestige in ChCh.
  9. 7 Series is a fantastic car. But why not get a NZ New 745i? They are starting to appear from $60k. You get the security of NZ new and also the extra grunt from the engine the 7 was designed to have in it! Any dealer can sell you a warranty, just make sure you get one with a nil excess. Again, go NZ New. A family member of mine had an immaculate 2000 735i which was ex singapore. No dealer wanted to trade it in and when he ended up selling it, it was for quite a lot less than what he expected. Rick Armstrong motors had a very nice 02 NZ new 745i in Toledo blue with black travelled 60kms for $65k. They may still have it. Good luck with the car hunting, but my one piece of advice is BUY NZ NEW!
  10. Shame I just sold a mint 95 e36 325i SE for $5250....

    HELP!

The gearbox electrics light has just come on and won't go off... Its an orange light on the dashboard which looks like a cog with an exclamation mark inside it. The car still drives perfectly, but I have stopped driving it in case I do any damage. Does anyone know what this fault could be? Also, can I drive it or is it safer to use another car? Thanks in advance
  14. Looks like good buying, NZ new and manual are as rare as hens teeth.
  15. Sorry have been bogged down with a whole lot of stuff at the moment. I will check the cost of freight and get back to you. Cheers
  16. Yeah. PM me. Im in Dunedin, so not sure how much freight would be. Where are you located?

  22. The Warehouse / Repco sell lovely pedals in three sets for about $20. Maybe you could glue a faux clutch to the floor? Or alternatively, convert this puppy to a manual...
