You said it yourself, higher octane is more fuel efficient as you would've probably used more fuel for that trip running on 91 octane. I think the higher octane fuel are more efficient as they have more inhibitors which makes the fuel burn for longer meaning more energy pushing on the pistons giving more power giving better fuel economy. Seems like bit of a waste of space to me, unless you were a freakish 8ft tall- even then you'd hit your head on the roof before you kicked the front seats. But I know thats not the point. Cheap though, and the kids would have room to put their sandpit in the back.

I'll take the Caterham. Always liked those, still has that classic look as well as FAST- 1hp/kg sounds good to me. Can't stand the look of the Ariel Atom, looks like a cheap go-kart.

+1, Got my Motorbike liscence and a Motorbike as its the cheapest, most enjoyable and fastest form of transport ATM. Only costs me $26 to fill up and that gets me ~300km. Only problem is it not a Beamer.

Yeah, its total madness!! I went over to Thailand last year and decided to hire a scooter to use instead of take Tuk Tuk's. It was the craziest thing I have ever done- so many close calls. But also very fun!
