I didn't silicon anything when I put my Tech 2 on, would be interested to see whether its a good idea too. Silicon is a nasty, scary thing on car paint though

Nice! I used to have a black Zildjian kit like that, nobody appreciated the sound including the neighbours, but god I miss it Got into piano/keyboard and guitar now and find some good tablature on the net.

I don't think it would be. As you are not painting the outer lense or the projector, only the plastic silver bit which has no effect on beam performance.

Good stuff, looks a lot cleaner and actually, they do look a bit bigger. Small things make such a big difference.

Doesn't work that good with a slow computer. At a rate of 1 frame/sec, it looked/sounded cool though!
