  1. I tried to find the guy but he seemed to disappear off the face of the earth when I moved towards that one. Decent k' afaik, if I go past again I'll go in.
  2. Yeah, but this is a facelift. facelift came out in '02.
  3. Walking up through Grey Lynn this morning and passed a car yard with a few bimmers. Checked them out and one stood out like a fish in a movie theatre. This E46 328i sedan Now from the outside and inside it looks like a standard 2002+ E46 facelift sedan. But when you look at the registration its a 1998!!! Its Chassis Number says it was built in '98 aswell. So it must have had a whole body retrofit. The whole body is facelift! Not just the front and rear lights. Anybody have an idea why its a bit weird? I'm really bored this morning.
  4. I think you'll find they're not genuine M3 wheels. Genuine M3 wheels are staggered fitment, have 3 series offset on the front and 5 series offset on the rear.
  5. No problem mate. Had it in an archive saved just in case someone wanted that info. Glad it helped.
  6. Must be made by LTSA's contractor, in this case LicenSys.
  7. Its missing the M parallels!
  8. Not photoshoped, thats a real test fit.
  9. My plate is up for sale. XXOTIC. Would look absolutely mint on a Ferrari, Lamborghini, really anything high performance and out of the ordinary. And would look extra special on a germanplate! Have it going in the Ferrari club magazine in a month, so get your interest registered quick. Will consider offers over $500 from Bimmersporters. Cheers, Nick
  10. I agree with Cains route. The Kaimai's are worth it for the couple mins it take. Followed an m5 up one time!
  11. Heres the conversion for a right hand drive. Hope its some help. e36rackconversion.zip
  12. Facelift was '02 for sedan and touring, '04 was facelift for coupe and convertible.
  13. The 330 has just that much more punch. 190 for the 325 compared to 230 for the 330 (bhp), big difference. Will most likely depreciate slower, and they're usually more highly specc'd.Angel eyes replace the park lights and should produce the same amount, if not, more light than the normal halogen bulb. Although in the OEM setup this might not be the case, because the angel setup from factory is lit by bulbs. Aftermarket though you want a good quality kit otherwise they'll just burnout. Angels aren't full beam lights, mainly there for looks. You'll be hard pressed to find a range of e46's with them from factory cause afaik they are pretty rare OEM. Go Xenon if you can, no downsides. Better visibility, the white looks better, its just better.
  14. Do you know how hard to find and expensive those moonroofs are!! Jeez shooting one! And where did that carrot come from... seriously!
  15. Buy a 330. The difference is the 318 is a 4 cylinder, while the other 2 are 6 cylinders. The 6 cylinders will have better torque and IIRC they have double vanos. The main difference with the engines are power. Arguably the 318 isn't that economical because you've gotta put your foot down all the time for it to move, and seeing the e46 is a heavier shape, a 323 might be a better alternative. The interiors are just specc'd, facelift was '04. If your budget is 12k good luck finding any. I've had a quick look and even '99 318's are 15k. Can't comment on fuel usage but if your worried about that from the start you should get a little honda jazz. COUPE
  16. I've done this trip a couple of years ago in a 540 and its absolutely magnificent. Sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed it!
  17. Mate what ones do you want. You say e36 evo alloys but you've put a pic of e46 m3 alloys. If you want a set of e46 m3 alloys for an e36 then a set of gen e46 m3 alloys won't work because rear offset is 5 series. If you find 4 front gen wheels off a m3 then it would be allgood.
