Welcome mate, I'm a bit biased toward a nice example of a e39. Re oil changes. The little green squares on your instrument cluster are the service indicators, whenever they get down its due for a service. I believe that is every 15k? Thats honestly all they need mate, my fathers got a schnitzer 540 and his never uses a drop of oil between changes. Goes off the indicators on the dash and it runs mint. Also re the handling. I don't know if you know but the 8 cylinder e39's have a recurring ball setup for steering. This gives quite a different feeling opposed to rack and pinion which is used on all other e39's. The thing that fascinates me about the 540 is that you don't even feel as though you are moving at 100k. You have to get up to 140k + to really feel the speed but when you get up there they hang on like sh*t to a blanket. Cheers, Nick -
I think white is quite a plain colour, but if you get a nice example like _BRS_'s, or SIR E30's white can make it look really special.

clutch in your e36 not great? long and heavy?

After today I can completely vouch for this modification. It has completely changed the feel of the car. Easiest and cheapest performance mod you can do. Took two seconds and I can't believe the difference. It has reduced the distance you push the clutch in by more than half, giving way faster changes and you're always on the point of engagement allowing more control. Fantastic. Cheers Ed. btw, he hasn't paid me to say that! -
Cheers Graham. That old touring of yours is a minter mate. E30 tourings are really something special.

Very nice mate, Just did the exact same thing on my 323. Came out fantastic. Marks write-up on how to fully groom a car is great and really should be stickied.
-
Nice mate, big difference. Looks a lot cleaner with the clears.

haha. Its soooo true!

Car looks great mate. You coming to the Anniversary Cruise tomorrow? -
They're M3 wheels. You won't fit a set of genuine wheels on your 46.M3 has different offset front and rear. If you can find a set of 4 front wheels then you're good to go.
-
Legend. Thats all I have to say.
-
Haha, I like that idea! Would suit that a lot more than the 323. I know what the original p/p EXOTIC sold for, so I'm not gonna let this go easily. Would be a very reasonable price anyway.
-
Haha, I like your stealth keywords! Passed you up birkdale last weekend, car looks mint mate. Good luck with sale.

Bump Yea, going in ferrari next month, haven't looked for any others yet. Haven't actually registered it to the car. Its a good plate that could suit a lot of cars but IMO it doesn't suit the bimmer well enough to put it on permanently. Just needed a nice promotional photo.

Martyn, its not showing on my account either.

Done by a 3rd party.

Try Ireland Engineering's website. There stuff is high quality and well known.
-
19's are fake - Will fit - 3 Series offset 18's are genuine - Won't fit - 5 Series offset
-
LOL! btw, did they take anything?
-
Everything's for sale at the right price.

There's always someone (in this case, a business) who has to ruin something.

I see Riley's 340 in the pic!

^^ Are you serious? I thought all 36's had that, mean I can put a HID kit in there!
