  1. Alex are you back in the county yet?? Are you coming around to take a look at that rear boot??
  2. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=438458085
  3. Soft ABS Plastic Vorsteiner style front lip. Brand NEW. Test fitted only - never mounted. Private import from overseas. Good fitment. ABS finish (i.e. no prime or paint on it) http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=437872309
  4. I re-read what I wrote and I guess it was a bit random I put the blame on the holidays and my personal frustration on trying to move mine for the last whole freaking year. It wasn't necessarily a price issue, but rather trying to find a wholeseller or dealer willing to buy the car in the first place. It honestly was THAT difficult to move. No one wanted it. I guess the points I tried to put across was a bit fragmented. What I actually was meant to say was don't get one if you are worried about getting out of it really quickly, but if you really wanted to get into one, do so after a while - when the imports starts coming in. And if you are getting into one don't buy into the bull about its supreme economy compared to the inline 6 (I barely get more than 320km from a tank and on the track it'd barely do 160km on a full tank - it is a thirsty bugger no matter how many horsepower it puts out - at least when compare to the older M3s). Don't get me wrong I still think it's a wonderful car with a great engine - but if the reasons for getting out of the M5 from the OP was what I assumed it to be, then the M3 will be no better. And yes I completely agree that resale value should not be a consideration when buying a car - they are a depreciating asset, period (bar a very few exceptions). Lots of posts around the web about the weak gearbox and crunchy 2nd gear. Mine was fine ... but it is an inherently weak gearbox. (PM me about the gb issues, there's a few things I dont't really want to share on the public forum)
  5. I would highly recommend against this ... it is a BLOODY HARD car to get out of that you'd take a massive hit by the time you come to sell it. Mine was so difficult to get out of that I more or less gave it away and honestly couldn't be happier that I finally got rid of it. Had I held onto it till this year I'd have lost another $20K on it straight away. Given that no E46 can come in now the E9X M3s can be imported into the Country for about $50K - $60K from the UK, you'd be crazy to get into one now. Wait a month or two when the market is flooded with them and pick one up for cheap. Just beware that the car is ridiculous on fuel (unlike any of BMW's advertising that it is more economical than the inline 6 it replaced) and if anything breaks on it without a warranty be prepared to sell a kidney for it (note, notoriously weak gearbox from ZF). If you do however still want to get into one, make sure you only buy the following spec - as it is by far the easiest spec to get rid of: White 4 door with black leather, DCT, HP spec with 19s (and don't repaint it bloody orange)
  6. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...mp;id=436550153 Price drop!!!!! Need these out of the garage.
  7. Wheels are almost new - no curbings whatsoever. Dark gun metal finish (OEM factory) Tyres are brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 2 - NEVER DRIVEN ON (Manufactured last year from memory). $2500ono No longer have a car that these go on, so they need to go. Would prefer to sell as a set, but will consider separating if I get separate offers for wheels and tyres individually. Wheels - $1250 Tyres $1250
  8. I don't usually do this, but I actually find it astonishing that the official BMW importer in NZ would be doing this - it is in my opinion gross recklessness if not borderline dangerous that they are selling these tyres to the general public (albeit at a significant discount), but this is the third time I've been offered this particular set of tyres for the CSL and I just want to put a warning out to people so they know the inherent risks if they so chose to buy these VERY OLD Michelin Pilot Sport Cups. These tyres are manufactured in 2002 - yes nearly 10 years ago. All tyres regardless of make and type have a general shelf life of between 6 to 7 years before the risk of delamination becomes a REAL risk (yes, blowouts at high speeds). Even if the tyres have been properly stored the natural breakdown of rubber is very real. Granted that these tyres are cheap as chips ... but buy and run them at your own risk. Check the tyre age before you commit to buying some of these clear out deals ... I did and was very shocked to hear how old they were!!! They have laws in the states about these ...unfortunately not in NZ.
  9. 2009 E92 M3, Jerez Black (it's actually a very very dark blue under light, but black in the shade). Black leather interior. SE model (i.e. not the HP model with dampertronic suspension). All standard features like Navigation (DVD based iDrive, not the 2010 HD system), bluetooth ect ect .. 18 inch alloy and almost new tyres - no curbings whatsoever. Also new front brake discs and pads recently. Almost full venturesheild paint protection to 80% of the vehicle (over $3500 worth). Just under 28,000km. Has had two oil service and inspection 1 done. Well looked after car and in very good condition. This is my daily work vehicle so the km will go up. Wife's got her eye on a car that she really wants, so as a good husband would (or a severely whipped one at that) I am putting this up for sale so she can have her toy!!! Happy to put the car on the GT1 scanner to show the buyer also that there are no fault codes. SOLD mobile 021 281 0155 email: [email protected]
  10. Correct!! If your E46 M3 isn't complied before 1/1/12 then you are out of luck as it will not be road legal.
  11. You are too late mate, this is the last year that E46s will comply in NZ. Will be no longer road legal next year. E46 M3, Euro 3.
  12. $500 take it away ... Please NO TIME WASTERS !!! I don't have the time to entertain people that have no intention to buy despite all efforts made to satisfy enquiries. Thanks.

  14. Will fit E90 and E46. Brand new!!! Genuine from BMW Motorsport - very hard to get hold of part. Reasonably priced for a genuine motorsport part: PM me if interested for details:
  15. I am listing this on behalf of a good friend as he doesn't have a bimmersport account - full contact details below. Genuine set of M3 CSL wheels (i.e. 19 x 8.5" ET 44 fronts and 19 x 9.5" ET 27 rears) in immaculate condition. The wheels were fully stripped, curb marks repaired, the external wheel face painted with Brightline, inside face and barrel new 'standard' paint - i.e. just like new. He is after $2600 (firm) wheels only or $3800 (firm) with tyres which are Falken FK452 (correct sizing for E46 M3s and CSLs - fronts 235/35/19 and rears 265/30/19) - tyres have less than 1000km of city driving on them (no track days and no fast B roads). Contact details: (please contact him directly - NOT ME) Email: [email protected] Mob: 027 700 8125 Photos:
  16. The lot must go - might be cheap for someone wanting to do up a batch or rental. http://www.trademe.co.nz/home-living/bathr...n-424584311.htm
  17. Happy Birthday old timer!!
  18. Light weight boot lid made from fiberglass (this boot is really really light - I am serious - it is lighter than a genuine M3 CSL boot lid) Full fiberglass construction, but very thin. Off Mike Eady's E92 M3 racecar - I am selling this on his behalf. I am told purchased from Turners Motorsport in the USA. The boot lid is used in their race program, so very very light weight. Paint in reasonable condition but not perfect (has chips and scratches) $500
  19. 200kw is pretty impressive from the s50b32 .... especially considering that the s65b40 is about 218kw at the wheels on torque performance dyno.
  20. In reasonable working order. Have had it for a few years now, but no longer required. The "Speed" button is broken (broken tab so it won't come out) but the remote works fine so you just use the remote to adjust speed. Works good as a dehumidifier also. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=421535407
  21. Purchased this from Country Theme in Newmarket about 6 years ago. In good used condition apart from two long scratches (about 30cm) in the top glass (visible if you look for it, but given it is a glass top it doesn't really pop out unless you look for it). On wheels that can be locked to stop it moving. Quite a heavy table as both layers are glass and the frame is metal (steel??). Very sturdy and chic . Will provide dimensions later on. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=421540290
