a B5 A4 would be a nightmare at that mileage.

Official launch is Friday, Germany time at BMW Welt, but if this is any indication...

The actual car has the number 12 on the side... The car in NZ is a '73, the one Josh posted is a '75, and the one I've posted below is a '76. Racecars evolve. There are plenty of differing styles of arches that were used on the racing CSL's, depending on what class they were in -the massive open rear arches were primarily used in IMSA/Group 2 racing. Here's a nurburgring 24 class wining car with yet another different style of arches: http://www.bonhams.com/eur/carsbmwpreview/ I guarantee when you see this car at speed show you'll realise just how wide the rear arches are.

It's Definitely a CSL... Look out for it at your local dealership in August and September as well.

I recommend not travelling at over 120kph on public roads?

I don't believe that you can scan a wrench with moving parts where the computer will figure out the intricacy of its inner workings and create a replica with moving parts. What they did not show is that the wrench would have to be taken apart to scan the three components separately (handle, worm gear, rack gear). Then, a 3D modeler spent hours cleaning up the models of the three components and assembling them with proper clearances and tolerances so that the printer would print the components without connecting them.

19x8.5"/19x9.5" Morr VS7 Forged Wheels, they've got a flatened face which makes them look rather staunch!
-
If you're going to run 17x9 ET-7 WTCC wheels, for the love of god run flares too.

For sale a couple of years ago... http://www.coolhunting.com/archives/2009/0...is_buellers.php

We've got a new tray sitting in our warehouse, I'll price it up for you tomorrow Lucan. -
The trick would be finding a dealer that had one to sell... On pistonheads they're trading close to £10K above book, and they got roughly twice as many cars as we did based on population base. Can't comment on spec differences, but there really isn't much else you'd want to tick on the kiwi cars.

I know of two 3.8's floating around from near as damnit NZ New, both UK imports though, one Black, one Avus. Are there any more around?
-
I hope we get more next year, we just sold our last two slots.

More room under the rear arches, and arguably nicer tailights. The front is straight forward, the only thing that needs cutting is the pre fl tow hook. The rear requires more fabrication as the earlier arches are cut higher, so the Fl bumper will stick out into the wheel well unless you shorten them. The rear metal valance is different as well, if you compare both an unkitted pre-Fl and a Fl you'll notice the metal in a FL goes much lower (if that makes sense).

Shameless plug... Gerry in the Team McMillan grooming department. His work is spectacular. Pricing is resonable too!
-
Some of the later styles come as a split rim. You can tell they're fake as they have a valve cap exiting the rim lip, not the wheel centre as with all later Alpina wheels.

It started life as a LHD car.

Nothing wrong with this one at all, immaculately maintained, like all of his BMW's. RE: the yellow one... You'd have to ask yourself why the mirror controls are on the passenger door card...

That red one is easily the mintest unrestored E30 I've ever seen. Not even a single watermark on the windows.
