  1. Blue e36 m3 on Ti Rakau drive, plate EQS581. If your on here you drive like a d*ck. Cut me off with no space a a traffic light, then honk the guy in front the moment the light goes green. Zero decency.
  2. From my car only done 13000kms full kit includes: 4 x springs/shocks. 1x Front sway bar. All the bits and pieces. Will fit both coupe and sedan 335i Make an offer just looking to get rid of them.

    BMW 1M

    I want those 359s....
  4. if you have the tools, then taking the wheel off would make life a lot easier. But it is doable just by turning the wheels full lock, it will give you enough space to work.
  5. You can't access it without taking off the wheel well liner. It's a stupid design flaw, on e92s its easy a pie.
  6. Common sense tells me that's not a very good idea. Regardless of what effect it has on the car... If you really want and have the $$, you can always get Comfort access retrofitted.
  7. And its a manual Msport, just Aero basically. Also anthracite headliner, and seats. which I can't tell by your pics, but they seem to have thigh support so I'm assuming are sport seats. *Nevermind just read the options, it has sports seats, so just missing the aero kit.
  8. which light? Do you mean the AE bulb? On the E90 its quite a mission, to replace it you have to go in through the wheel well
  9. OT But did you pay duty on the wheels?

    4x4 tires

Thanks for the input guys, still trying to make a decision. Definitely considering the Cooper AT3s, but also wondering about the concerns 3pedals brought up. wondering how they will hold up with mostly road/highway. Wondering what the realistic usage will be. The Dunlops I have on now have worn on the shoulders and only lasted about 28,000kms. If the Coopers last for maybe 50-60k on road use, I definitely think they are quite good value.
  11. ^^ what Qube said. I'm pretty sure I have an idea which one your looking at. with that many kms on it, regardless of history I'd stay away. There are plenty around the $10k mark with a 3rd of the milage.

    4x4 tires

Sorry forgot to mention, they'll just be for city/highway.

    4x4 tires

Looking for a new set of tires for the truck. Just wondering if there's much difference between the Dunlop grand trek or the Bridgestone dueler? (They're similar pricing.) Looking for a set of 265 65 17s if anyone has any hookups! Cheers!
  14. Hold your breath and just pull the front bumper outwards. slide your hand in with a flathead screwdriver to push down on the clips. It does take a bit of force.
  15. Always a good choice, Quattro system is pretty good. Haven't had experience with the 3.0L engine though. From my experience, a mechanical warranty is definitely advised.
  16. Koni yellows? The two main choices are eibach and H&R. Most seem to favour the H&R The sport drop is quite nice, gets you low without being to much of a pain getting around and less firm ride. The race will get you down quite low with a slightly firmer ride. If it were me, the sport drop would be enough. But google some pics or head over to e90post for photos to help you decide, there are a tonne of people running the setups your considering.
  17. Oh rubbish you say? Sure thing. Care to elaborate? Using a stiffer spring on a shock not rated for it will put extra unnecessary forces on the shock. By prematurely I mean the shock will fail much earlier than you would expect if completely OEM. Is that not correct? Before you chime in on something you obviously lack understanding in do some homework. I own an e92, I have done my homework on the results of drop using H&R spring on stock shocks. Not once has anyone ever said the ride is not harsher than OEM, and of those who have dropped most I have come across do go on to change out to aftermarket struts and many have stated the shocks feeling very floaty after 30-40kms. The usually preferred pairing is H&R springs with Koni yellows or Koni FSDs. So again care to elaborate on which part is rubbish?
  18. Drop depends on what suspension you have already. Sport or standard? dropping on springs only will give a harsh ride, bearable but harsh, also will cause your shocks to fail prematurely. If you use OEM shocks, the most I'd drop it on is H&R sport
  19. Yes, it's normal, when the car starts up it runs an electrical signal to all lights. Its called bulb check, this affects LEDs they tend to flicker. The only way to remove the flicker is to code out the bulb check.
  20. VIN says it has Msport suspension and sports seats, nothing about M Aero. My guess it was optioned with a few MSport options (seats, Suspension, alloys)

    RIP Cosmos

God rest his soul. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
  22. I'd suggest you stay away from that car. Even for 12-13k, its not exactly a deal. Seems like it hasn't been well maintained and is likely a pit, one problem will lead to another. Also the E46 SMG is definitely a case of "avoid where possible"

    Brian (COSMOS)

Terrible news. Wish him all the best!
  24. Either an E91 or an avant would be a good choice. Looks are preference, to me Avant's with the low slung roof line are killer, TBH I dont understand why anybody buys an Audi sedan. The E91 on the other hand is different, for starters, there's probably 1 for every 10 Avant's in NZ, so bonus points. The E90/1/2/3 interior is claustrophobic but then again, an A4 isn't too much better. As for maintanence, an e90 isn't going to be much cheaper than and B7. Always depends on your luck. I had the Allroad for a few years, had its fair share of problems, but man I miss it, it went and it was roomy as hell. I think either would be a good choice! Just see which one you find first!
