Q you found wheels yet? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-565288602.htm could be cheap if they fit?
  2. Wondering what my options are for getting details off a rego are? Motorweb and carjam say $20 any idea what that gives me? Or can anyone who has access help me out? can PM me. Cheers.

Me like! Do think wheel change would best suit though.
  4. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-524951489.htm I think I just saved you about a grand? I believe thats hat your looking for.
  5. What do you mean by updating the Nav display? Isn't it an LCI? it should already have the CIC nav. As for the cluster, its doable, but the only viable swap is the M3 cluster, or if your feeling brave, take it apart and change the backlight colour.
  6. what exactly do you mean by "bodykits"? are you wanting a ricemobile? or mtech bumpers/skirts? or widebody?
  7. Style 359s (Updated CSLs, 1M wheels)
  8. 500gbs?! when the hell is vodafone gonna bump up their caps... still at $90 for 80gb and + another $30 for an extra 80gb....

    330, my version.

Love it, color combo is on point! I think the grey looks better with the red than the original planned black.

    Opinions please

If you filled out the disposal form and whatnot you should be in the clear. Probably just a stuff up somewhere.
  11. 30 point away from losing your license to me suggests radar detectors aren't your solution. Try slow down, the best form of avoiding the law is not breaking....
  12. I appreciate the effort and handiwork, I think it came out good. But I think M stripes are tacky. But thats just me.
  13. Good luck with the SMG, I've heard too many stories of it breaking. Congrats on the new car, hope you enjoy! I can imagine the cheesy grin on your face every time you floor it.
  14. on an E46 swapping the grills is very easy, just a few clips, painting/vinyl wrapping is the cheapest and easiest option, but be aware that after time stone chips will chip the paint leaving the chrome showing through sometimes. better to buy black plastic ones. Also buying from J levi is like $50 for shipping? Tardme would be cheaper. try the bay maybe.
  15. Hey Q, good luck with the search! I reckon that first 330i definitely looks like a good choice, NZ NEW huge impact on the price, personally I prefer to avoid imports, but that just me. Sedans would definitely be better priced with the budget. If It were me I would choose either a 330i or an E39 530i.
  16. It's a reworked n55 block with a new spooling setup. Also just to point out the title the chassis number is F80 not F30. Now if only I could afford an e92 m3, the first and final NA v8 m3.
  17. I was wondering if about the font as I have two zeros in my plate, is the font only the one shown on the first page? If they look like NZ ones I'm keen for two pairs.

    Rough price

Was curious if anyone in NZ stocks advan racing wheels? I was wondering how much a set of RZ-DF 19" would set me back. Also BBS LM or CH-R? I should probably just settle for reps, not sure Im willing or able to give up an arm or a leg atm... maybe sell a kidney..
  19. I was mainly refering to electrical components. The sun is about the harshest element a car faces in NZ, bar the lower south which get a bit of snow. The problem in japan is the snow, because of harsh winters and the salts used to salt the road, these cause alot of problems and in general much faster aging of components. Extreme weather is no good. As for singaporean imports, your pretty lucky then, IMO they are the absolute worst, the humidity is hell on the wiring harness and the metals in the car. long term its just really bad. Ive seen cases for 3 year old cars in SG will end up looking as if it were 10 years old NZ new.
  20. Word of advice, speaking from experience, avoid imports, stick with NZ new, Esp with the newer cars, the extreme weather has severe impacts on aging of the car.
