That already is cutting the current pipe off straight from the muffler and re-weld it onto the muffler... still sticker way out ....

Nice... Obviously if he is wanting E46 318 he has his reasons, so i think it is pointless telling him to get late E36 M3 or the likes .... If i had to buy a car i can't buy an M3 because i can't get insurance, i can get E46 320i or below ... maybe he's in the same situation... would rather buy a car he can insure ... COntinetals are expensive but aren't good bang for bucks .. there are a lot of tires that are of equivalent quality and performance and costs a lot less than continentals.

Get an E46 328i then ...

I went into two muffler shops to get new twin tips on the car, and both shops told me that the tips they sell are too long so i have two options, 1/ have the tip sticking hell out 2/ shorten the pipe that connects to the muffler So does anyone know where i can get some shorter twin tips? Aparantly i need them to be around 5'' long.

Shadow, are you going to get the surround plates for your headunit? because the E46 has a different fitting that normal 1DIN headunits ...

Can you justify why Sony headunits are bad ??I've used many Sony headunits and have nothing but good results from them... Good bang for bucks at the time too .... With the headunits i had it out-performed my friends pioneer, panasonic, clarion and JVC of equivalent level.

I certainly wouldn't pay that much ... i would seriously consider it if it's around the 10,000 mark tho ..

Haha .. i had a sneaky suspision it was you ... Is your car a true M325i ? I was trying to figure that out when the other dunedin member joined up ... Speaking of, he's been in hiding for a while .. hah .. i haven't seen him around campus, so i haven't waved at him crazily for a while now .. hahah ... So what do you do with yourself now, where do you work? I'm at my final semester in Uni and then i go and work for dad ... I've never actually had a good look at an E30 so i should come and check out your car at some stage, don't worry about cleaning it, my cars is always messy anyway .. hahahah ...
