I'd have to agree there ... even tho the car is from a friend it doesn't mean it's a good bargin ... i've soon all too many problems with buying and selling things from friends ... and the last time i saw a friend buy a car off another friend and it sure didnt' go down well at all ...

i know for sure that cosmetic M parts (bodykits etc) are perfectly fine .. whether they would offer an engine transplant is another story .. ha ... probably be HELL expensive if they ever did anywa y..

1. Acs do offer a supercharger.2. Its not warrantied by BMW. Can you supply more information on the ACS super charger unit please .. on monday i'll pay them a visit and see whether it is warrantable ... but from the conversation i had with them yesterday, anything from ACS installed by BMW doesn't void it ...I know with what you two are arguing about with contractual and consumer ... but like some one said .. it's not something that i'd want to test out by installing .. say a Remus exhaust and find out from bmw that it's not ...

Yes the ACS parts have to be installed by BMW ... And if ACS offered a super charger kit, then the warranty would still be honoured by BMW ... But i asked if i got a remus exhaust and got BMW to install it would i still have my warranty .. they said no .. because it's not ACS parts ... regarding Bravo's comment ... in the booklet that comes with the car it stated clearly that by installing non-approved parts etc. it would void the warranty on the whole ... and the other thing that would void the warranty is when the car is in racing conditions ....

If there is few of ya's interested in PS2's then i can go and speak to the manager at Harvey's and try and get ya's a good price ...

Here is an interesting fact ... I went and spoke to BMW yesterday about some modification parts, and it turns out that ACS original parts is the only company that leave BMW manufacturers warranty intact .... As in ... i can install a whole lotta ACS parts on my car and i'd still have my three year manufacturers warranty ... :thumb: I'd probably by out hunting for ACS parts later ... heheh ..

Well on the NZPS website it said that there was a drift battle in it .. and there was this other drift article i was reading that said GT4 dos ..

pussy its just minor speed wobbles not like your gonna die or anything hitting a tree Yes, bimmer's aren't the most stable cars over 200kph, however, it would be nice to test that again with a full body+spoiler kit added.E: Glenn, that goes for you too However ... dads car is very stable at 200+ kph .... That was on a long straight deserted road tho, and mines also pretty stable at 208kph .. also on a deserted road ...

Damn martyn .... dad's 745i is only 88Litres ... and that already is around $100 ...

I don't know miles or gallons ... so i'll give it in km and litres .. BMW 316ti 2004 E46 manual I usually get on average 650-700kms out of one tank of 60litres ....(i know it's 63L tank but i fill 60 everytime)... And that is doing 90% in town and 10% on motorway at 108kph.
