With my E36 it was just under the windscreen under the hood in a little hole that you could just see the chassis number .... look carefully ....

The biggest noticable difference would only be the steering wheel ... other than that everything is pretty much the same ...

No .. the 318IS comes in 4 doors ... my partners uncles has a mint condition one ..,blue 1998 ... i think he'd want way too much for it tho ..Actually how much would your relative be willing to pay for one ?? Just properly read through your requirement and this bm fits all the requirments .. Low Kms, manual, leather, Motorsport kit, mint condition, Blue colour, 1998, 17'' factory mags, factory clear rear light and indicators AND it's the 318iS oh and New Zealand new ... I could go and inquire in intereseted .. except it's in Dunedin

BTW ... the first two pictures you posted (front and rear) has both got the Motorsport kit ... and from the pictures of the kit they look like the original ones .. but the MSport generally came from factory with the 5 Spoke wheels ... The last picture is identical to that of the first picture .. !

Hey welcome ! I've got a set of Adrenaline's with tire if you are ever interested .. it cam off my E36 ... 17'' 225 all round ...

I am already using one of them .. and they are not the best things around .. that is why i would prefer a hard cabled version ...

CamBus ?? Excellent it would work on my car .. Yeah it would be grealy appreciated if you did post up about it ..

IPOD has a plug that can just be pluged on to the back of an aux in on any headdeck ... but what i like about the BMW one is the fact that you can control it via the streering wheel buttons ...

I beleive it's on certain headunits .. i think it only works on the business head deck as that's one of the only 3'r that has an Aux input ....

check this out guys .. IPOD Converted it costs just under $300NZD to buy the converter, i'm seriously thinking about going into cookies to get me one of those converters now ... If it's even been released here yet ..

I think the first two pictures are of different cars .. If you look at the vent(or wat ever is called) behind the front wheels they are different .. and if you look at the back of the seats of the first pic there is little triangular things there and doesn't look like there is any space between that and the seats .. where as if you take a look a the second picture the bit behind the seats looks quite differnet ..!!

And please .. no comment of "just get a faster car please"... Because i find that the fun is modifying the car yourself, and feeling proud of it after you've just complete the task.eg. some one installing a better CAI and they'd feel like .. wow i just did that and it's cool .... not just get a faster car and be done with it ... doesn't really matter the cost, i'll just modify it to the extent that i can afford (without a loan or something), which won't be too much at the moment, which is why i'm trying to get as much freebies off my brother as i can .. haha ... I'm afrain soon is not soon enough ... i have to wait 3 years before i can do anything to it ... well actually 2 years and 3 months now ...I have plenty thing for it now but just can't put any of it on ... my brother has it all for me now ... he has taken the old charger off and put a bigger one in his car... he's gotten the full instructions on how to install it properly in my car (for those dumb mechanics as he says, haha). He's gotten a full UUC customised exhaust system for my car (as they didn't produce one for mine) sitting in his garage. Sway bars are coming from UUC too ( but i think i will install that before the warranty runs out). I believe he's got a set of 15'' Brembo cross drilled brakes intended for my car, but i'm not sure about that one.

It is just a 316ti with a wee 1.8L with double vanos ...
