Hmm .. last years thread ... oh well ... I did the run in period following Andrews instructions and the instructions on that website ... and it sure does run pretty hard now ... i've put it up against an 1998 Levin BZR and was able to only just beat it twice in a row ... I'm loving to drive this car more and more ... it's now at 18000KMS and has been given a bit of hell and it still runs perfectly ... hahah ... i love it ! Rock shop ?!? where an earth is that ?? Yeah thats my plate but would appreciate it if you'd just edit it out ... Thanks ...

I've got pop out windows in the rear and so does my brother ... He's got the electrical version .. and i've got the manual but had the option at factory to make it electrical ..

Haha ... i get that everyday ... With the MX5's id rather drive an Toyota MR-S .. i've driven both and most definatly prefer the MR-S ... My freind went on couple of holidays and just gets me to look after them and gave me permission to take it outta town for long drives, cause he just doesn't care about his MR-S ....

It seems pretty tidy .. but i would think that the majority of people wouldn't want the handsfree kit cause i beleive it's for that perticular model phone only ..

I would say it is guarantteed that everyone speeds sometimes ... hell even my mum and grandparents speeds sometimes .... And i would say i'm not exactly an slow driver either ... i commute on the motorway everysingle day sitting a generally 110KM ....

I would get an old school mini for about 1K and use the rest of the money to recondition and make it a lot faster too ...

Speaking of bonnet scoops .. there is an E36 with one of those stick on bonnet scoops that doesn't do anything ... There is also an 318 E36 with angled exhaust and ACS spoiler + ACS wheels (nothing wrong with those) but he's got a hideous big massive VIP BMW in reflective sticker that covers nearly his underhalf of his front windscreen !!!! I'll try and take pictures of those two car and post it up .. hey Emma if you see them try and take a photo ...

Yep they sure are quiet .... it's one of the quietest 17'' tires i've been on...

I like the factory tires .. i beleive they are ContiSports .. 245/40/17 rear and 225/45/17 fronts ... They have never squeeled when doing hard around corners and i've done nearly 20K on them without even reaching half the tread .. and they are damn grippy too .. Even in the wet ..

Just at a rough price .. it's 1066+GST .. but i think pricing has dropped since that price ...

i had that problem with my E36 with 17'' mags .. but the wof place said it didn't matter because you'd never have the car in full lock while at speed ...

I don't recommend 6x9's in the E36 i used to have one and i've experiemented with them and they suck ... so i got a decent two or three way speaker that fits the original holes ... and mounted them from the bottom up ....sound excellent and people didn't even know they were after market ..

i reckon if your not buying a car now then just wait till next year when you are ... cars might be a little more cheaper by then anyway... so just wait and see ... thats my theory ..

Use a good quality tint that is durable and use a heat gun to apply it ... if it is applied well it can look mint ... my brother used to do it for people .... but how legal it is now i don't know ...
