The diff on my last E36 made a constant whine .. but as soon as i took my foot off the accelerator it became noticably louder ... I got the diff internals reconditioned but when i got it back it still did a little whine .. they said to fully get rid of the noise i'd have to change the whole diff .... after that the noise went away ...

nah it's not coil bind ... it's the side of the actual coils .. as if they have been rubbing against the wheel or something .. i'll take a picture tomorrow ...

Yep same thing ... if you go take a look at your car .. and look just on top the indicators from inside the hood you will see a screw hole ... it's a matter of putting a phillips head screw driver down there unscrewing it .. and the indicators come out ..

It is extremely easy .. it's a matter of undoing like 1 or 2 screws on each indicator and then it comes out ... and then you just slot the new one back in ..

I was washing my car thoroughly and i took all 4 wheels of to give it a really good clean inside and out .. and i just found out today that the BMW original wheels are made by BBS ... No wonder they are so damn expensive ... Just thought i'd share what i lernt today .. hah ... you's probably already know that anyway .. BTW what is the best product to use to clean mags? There is some pretty hard to get off stains on the inside of the mags, cause they've never been cleaned for bit more than 7 months .... Another question .. after i took the wheels off i noticed that on the rear passenger spring it's obviously been rubbing on something .. the paint has come off .. is that a bad thing ??

It sounds like as if the amp is constantly running .. cause if the amp is constantly running and you turn on and off the car the subs will pop ... experienced that first hand .. had a friend run remote straight to the battery and turned on and off the car it does that ...

A lot of things has been done to it to ensure that it will last ... so you can be assured that it won't die easily ... I'll try and keep you's informed but i don't intend to fly back over to see him until 2006 so it's gonna be a little hard to do ...

Nah he doesn't like putting his car in mags .. his last car was magazine material but he didn't want to put it in their ... draws too much attention he reckons .. haha

Thats just sad !! You should get the WOF place to take some blame for it and do some sort of compensation or else take them up with the LTSA for not have a good standard or too ruff with their examinations ..

Yeah thats what happened with my E36, the ski pole hole thingy was bashed out to make more bass come through into the cabin ... the foam for the center seat was also lessened ...

I found out my proper xmas present from my brother is something else .. He's getting me a Nokia 7710 from HK at the end of January cause it's not been released yet ..

It wasn't much for me ... just went to look at the fireworks in Melbourne and then went to pancake palace afterwards for a big feed of pancakes ... boy that was yum !
