  1. I find it quite funny how nearly everyone on here says "I would love an E30 M3, but can't afford one". Well this one IS cheap and if i had the $ i would jump on it even tho' i don't like E30's. This sounds like it needs less work to comply than my 2500 E3. And a lot of guys here are spending big $ and sh*t loads of time doin conversions on their run-o-the mill E30's but no this M3 is TOO MUCH WORK. PFFFT What ever, my 2c.

18k is only the start of it. I really dont think youre aware of the costs attributed to owning an M3!

Laurence has spent $38k getting his one up to scratch. They dont come cheap.

There is no one on here throwing that sort of coin at any run of the mill E30.

Im going to have to say it "I would love an E30 M3, but can't afford one"

  2. I feel your pain! Got a nail right in the side wall of the 18" Alpinas the other day. Basically a brand new tire which is not repairable. Have the 17s back on till I can afford to replace it lol

  3. well have been put onto Ray at HELLBM and dropped the car off yesterday arvo (Tuesday) and picked it up tonight (Wednesday) al finished and absolutely amazing job. The finish of the interiors bits and pieces is as it would come out of the factory and gearbox/clutch etc is all very good. So if anyone else is looking for parts or help with anything I wouldn't hesitate to call Ray again. Great bloke.

    Cheers.

Dam, thats a quick turn around! Out of interest, how much did the conversion cost you?

  4. Sorry can't access TM at work... Price, kms?

    Honda CIVIC 4DR LX 1993

    258,001km

Asking price: $1,999 Or Near Offer

Blurb: Recently had a VTNZ W.O.F, replaced the rear bush's and bought a new seat belt for the drivers seat.

Tires are about a year old - still have a lot of tread on them.

Had a new spray of paint to freshen the car up last year.

Has a crack on the rear bumper and also some dents on the front of the bonnet and rear left door, all have been painted so there are no scratches.

Very economical - costs very little to run.

A great car for a first time car owner

  5. Various factors will depend on how many km's you get from $50 of fuel.

    * Round town (stop start) or open road travel?

    * How hard you push your foot down on the big pedal?

    * What petrol you're using, 91, 95, 98?

As for the alloys, im not totally sure but have seen them on various 5 series before. Dont quote me on that thou.

  6. I have to agree with CamB on this one.

Ive sat back and watched this topic for the last couple days and to be honest found it interesting how many people on here condone this behaviour which is wreckless.

This is a public road and you put everyone else who use that road in danger by driving like that. If you happen to make one mistake its all over! If it was a road not used by the public I say go for it because if you cock it up, its only you who's going to get hurt!

TBO you aint no Ari Vatanen, and those driving skills are erratic to say the least.

    Keep it for the track.

  7. Came across this on my way home last night. Only 200m up the road.

Poor E36 was a total wreck! Good to see you can still survive when a 1970's Isuzu truck gets airbourne, does a 360 and lands on top of you!

3 Cheers for BMW. Hip Hip Hooray
