  1. if your talking about the coolant tank i have the correct one i just might have to make something to hold it in place
  2. yes i did get the carbon pads do you think it will be ok so if i buy a 316i fuel pump it will suit i have the coolant hoses will i need to change the coolant tank to the one buy the fuse box or can i keep my tank that is on the side of the current radiator. also how much is a m3 exhaust there are a couple of aftermarket one to fit non m3 am i better off to modify one or buy a standard one thanks for the helpyes oil lines and cooler intact. why would i not need the m3 cluster as the revs are higher and instead of vacuum there is oil temp
  3. hey thanks for the info i have the headers alone with everything else its as far as i can see its a straight drop in this is the non evo engine without ews. i have recently swap a s50b30 with a s50b32 hence my possession of the 3l the ews delete was a b***** but its all running now. and as for the gearbox if its stuff after a month then its not worth putting it in, if it last longer then i wont mind, ill just put a zf in, the invoice i got with the clutch says the clamp is now 2210lb and 1190lb before.
  4. hey im planning to put a s50b30 into my 325 coupe i have a few questions, first off i have a getrag 220 and a 318 clutch was has been modified by auto clutch which is currently in the car i need to know if the gearbox and clutch can handle the power. secondly i need to know what parts i need to complete if there is something i have missed i have all the wiring and ecu for the motor and the engine is a complete setup i know i need .fuel pump .exhaust .instrument cluster if anyone has a m3 exhaust and a cost please pm me any help much appreciated, thanks
  5. hey guys i have abit of a problem im currently changing a s50b30 to a s50b32 the old setup has not got ews and the new engine does. So i need to wire in the ews system i have the module itself all the key chips and the antenna and all the hardware required i just need to know how to wire it in to the new system, has anyone done this before wiring diagrams would be very much appreciated cheers jayden

  9. ohk thanks for the advice i might give it a miss but just out of curiosity do the benefits out weight the work needed to install? i guess its only worth doing if i was to work the motor but there seems to be no point in a factory motor
  10. yepp definitely an s50 i am replacing an 400k s50 with a 20k s52 and was considering putting it on my m50 i have seen something similar on a m54 i want to know if first it will fit im well aware the m50 have a single throttle body and the s50 have six this is why i think there could be an advantage but if its not worth the time then i will keep s50 complete its just free so why not haha
  11. hey guys have now got a tired m3 engine at home and was looking at putting the intake manifold on to my m50b25 so is there any real benefit in doing so? any details or advice cheers jayden
  12. hey i have converted car to a manual it was the conversion kit i brought off you recently i had the flywheel,clutch etc done at auto clutch. car revs at auto idle and if you accelerate noise stops no headlights or a/c was just concerned if something was loose
  13. hey guys my gearbox has started to make a rattle in neutral not sure what it could be, the noise goes away when i put the clutch in so im assuming its in the gearbox itself and will occasion not make a sound, it could also be rattling when im driving but i cant be sure, any ideas much appreciated

  15. ok i was concerned about the power transfer if a getrag would be strong but what would you charge for a getrag conversion which one is best a 220 240 260 it has a jatco auto so the ratio would be as you said

  17. hey yes i did ring ray with a quote of 2300 im not sure is this includes gst i wanted to do myself for the experience as well as the savings which based on this quote i could do myself alot less est a kit to be 1700 ish but getting it done is still on the table it all depends on the advice you guys give me about the problem i may encounter my main concerns being the ecu and the diff if this will effect my response and speed accuracy
  18. hey guys my auto box has stop going ive decided to convert to a manual id been planning it befor but i now have a good reason to do it haha so i want to do the conversion myself im looking for a zf conversion kit and also some advice, what i should be aware of problems etc if anyone has any kits available and a cost for the whole kit also how important is the diff ratios between the auto and manual. what will i do with the ecu if it will need to be switched to a manual one ive heard something about using an auto ecu and grounding some terminals ??? m50b25 cheers

  20. ok well thanks got your efforts anyway i also have the same thing with the back bumper just the bumper has a clear coat fail on a small spot above the trim so ill just have to paint the lot cheers guys

  23. hey guys i know this is a long shot but i have a pair of mint genuine dark blue side skirts only problem my car is silver i was hoping someone out there may have have some in silver and may have a blue car or for some one that couldnt care less what color they are that would be keen on swaps you'd really be helping me and of course some cash your way cheers please mail me for pics i cant seem to upload any
  24. as far as i am aware the m50 engine is only upto a 2.5l. the cast iron block will be far better to boost as the are stronger but still i would risk no more then 9psi without farther modification.the best options would be to go with the m50b25 possibly without vanos also the m50 have larger intake ports on the manifold which are also a common thing with most forced applications.
  25. dont put 6x9 plates there either do what brent suggested or just by very good 4 inch speakers and if the are going to be run through an amp run only high frequencies through them as for the front with some modifications the foot well can fit 6 or 6.5 which is what ive done in both of my e36 and im very impressed with the sound quality.head unit-sony gt700ui front-6.5inch soundstream sst6.5pro back-soundstream 40 rms fusion am41200 amp fusion 12inch sub amp runs sub and front speakers front speakers are most vital the speakers can handle the full power of the amp in a rms or true wattage level running the rear through amp was not necessary as the stereo provided that power well but to have 6x9 would help but i found that 4inch speakers run well but headunit well need to be set to higher frequency's to pass not low or bass
