Which is why i have the m135i over my old 130i :)

    twin turbo0o0o

Haha you mean single turb0o0o0o or have you converted yours to twin? That 130i would be plenty of fun for sure and is a lot of car for the money. The one thing i wish the 135i/335i's came with from factory is an LSD

So I bought the modules needed to flash stage 1 tunes. And it fails everytime. Had errors like error packet 4, then error packet 6.

Now it fails just to flash back to my stock backup....

Don't know what to do ..

Is your device in airplane mode? I was having similar issues when i first did it. All good after putting it in airplane mode.

Are these lows? What sort of drop? I'm keen!

They're the Sport springs. Slight drop from the factory Msport ride height. They're currently on hold pending pick up later this week. Will be in touch if the sale falls through ?

Sorry if anyone has texted me, should have mentioned that I've been overseas so have not been able to reply via text.

    Cheers

No, they disable the emissions error codes which does the job as long as it's still connected. When the connector is unplugged you get a different error code which MHD doesn't disable.
I've asked for them to disable this code too but as I'm apparently the only one with this issue they don't want to spend time on it.

I might try to plug the sensor in and tie it to something in the engine bay some day. But I suspect the weird readings it'll get from doing that might cause other issues.
And I have to take apart crap in the engine bay to reach the connector which I don't want to deal with now haha.

Makes sense. The CEL would annoy the heck outta me though..haha. wonder if a 90 degree O2 spacer would allow it to fit? Guess I wont know till I install the pipe, or attempt to

Just watch out for RHD fitment. The VRSF E series N55 downpipe did not state anything for RHD fitment on the page... and as it turns out you can't plug in the secondary O2 due to the steering rack.

Usable... just means even MHD won't disable the check engine light.

Thank you for that. Was wondering about this. Does the secondary O2 normally get disabled anyway by mhd on LHD cars?

Changing the angel eyes bulbs in a 1 series requires removing wheel well liners. Or, dislocating wrists, dropping the bulbs and then removing the wheel well liners to get the bulbs back.

They must've made it much easier for the 135i's then. Mine took about 15 minutes to do both sides, don't recall struggling too much to do them and definitely didn't have to remove the liners. That would be frustrating

I have been running MHD Stage 1+ for about 12 months now and have had no issues. I have an AMS intercooler and VRSF charge pipe. I tried linear throttle mapping but didn't like it. I am keen to move to stage 2 but will need to remove the cats. My question for those that have removed the cats is how tricky is it? At Stage 1 + I am pretty happy but my issue is traction especially off the line. I might look at the torque limitation option but would be keen on people's opinions here. I could of course get off my arse and order an LSD and fix things properly.

What tyres are you running? I was having heaps of traction issues until I swapped for Pilot Sport 4's. So far so good, will have to see what happens when i move onto stage 2.

I was quoted about $900+gst just for labour for the downpipe installation and that's for a N55. So i'll be giving it a go myself. Have heard the n54 can be a bit trickier

  8. That sounds awesome. I have all of the above parts sitting waiting to be installed bar the catch can(n55), just have not had the time to install. Did the tune change the characteristic of the DCT at all? I cant imagine shifts getting any quicker in sport mode but there's certainly improvements to be made for normal driving. My golf gti's DSG seems to be more responsive/smarter driving around town
