Just be fully aware of having ZERO cover if your vehicle is at home but not in the garage. On the drive at home = no cover, on the side of the street by home = no cover. Was really keen to use these guys until I read (and verified on the phone) this aspect of their policies.  ?

Yup was fully aware, although I clarified with them about carport and it was fine. Needed the cover for when I was actually driving the car on the road and I had zero issues when it came to making a claim.

I own a Mk6 Golf R and just had it walnut blasted... Does that GDI cleaner actually work?

It works real well if you actually pull off the intake manifold and scrape the crap out using it and a rag lol. I've had good results spraying that stuff into a vacuum line on my older Hondas, not so much with my mk6 Gti. Direct injection motors just need it done properly imo.

  3. If I had kept mine longer this was the next thing I would've invested in. Did a bit of research on it over the years and I came to the conclusion that the Bilstein B8/eibach springs combo was the most ideal. I don't believe the drop is too significant and the Eibachs seemed to have a smaller drop than the H&R's from memory.

The factory E82 M-sport suspension just doesn't suit our roads at all.

They are only really aimed at the people that can afford new these days, and who will sell it in 3 to 5 years, thus that’s as long as they need to last. Mercedes also is guilty, just look into the biodegradable wiring loom.

Oh if I'd bought it brand spanking new I'd be much more annoyed... It's a year old but its more the service I received than anything than annoys me. I specifically asked the dude if the particular issue was sorted, obviously didn't test it.

  5. Dropped my car off to my local BMW dealer for a recall and also to fix an issue with my car connecting to the net... Spent 1.5 days without the car then got a message that it was ready. before I went down today I actually asked them if everything was working as it should and was told everything was 'perfect'. Picked it up this afternoon and of course it's still not working. Paid full bloody price for the car too lol... just shocking service.

    New cars eh...

  6. Found this quite funny but annoying, picked up my new car from Coombes Johnston a couple weeks ago and was told the car would be in my name by the time I got home that day. Low and behold I received a certificate of registration in the mail yesterday for a 2010 Rav 4.

  7. @qubeI usually mount my spoilers with the thin double sided tape from Repco . Have used that stuff for years for spoilers and it's extremely strong. I've actually got a spare roll of tape that came with the spoiler for the new car if you want. Mounted my spoiler really flush and solid.
