Looking good man, Im interested to see how the colour turns out
-
As per title im after a z3 steering rack, just need a bare rack, ends and boots not needed.
-
Technically because he will need to replace the crossmember with one from a manual he will need a cert, unless he can mount the manual box to the auto crossmember with out altering it then a cert is needed.
-
The gearbox sits at the same angle between the M40 and M50, the swap requires a cert for swap even if you go with the OEM parts but it just makes it easier to hide with an OEM driveshaft
-
I agree black looks better
-
You should just need a crossmember from a manual e34, the selectors might just be a different length easy enough for an engineer to change the length. Drive shaft im unsure on, again length will be different but im not sure if the output flanges are the same, could have one made from half the E30 drive shaft and half your e34 auto driveshaft easy enough.
-
The gearbox, flywheel and starter from your E30 will all bolt up to the M50 engine. You could just use those and then youd just need a pedal box, crossmember, driveshaft and selectors to finish the conversion
-
Looking good, might see you there
-
With damaging paint work?... Haha I got mine from repco does the trick, hasn't taken any paint with it so far
-
Wonder how much guard work i'd need to do to get these on the E30?...
-
Awesome looking car, good to see it delivers good performance when you want rather than it all being economy based
-
Ya took a bit of a turn. Car looks good though
-
Ya just not sure how many hidden issues it has
-
Ya I've seen a few lately this being the cheapest of the lot get what you pay for though I suppose

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=720699013 Anyone know this car? Always had a soft spot for the e21s but this one looks pretty rough
-
I'm curious to know what their wading depth is
-
that's a rare sighting
-
Ya i saw the set on trade me, im really hoping to be able to just by a pair as i already have a few 17x8s lying around due to having to buy a set to get some 8.5s
-
Send 'Ahmedsinc' a message he has a wreck sitting at his place he's selling bits off
-
As per title after a pair of 17x9 style 32 wheels, not worried about condition as long as they are not bent.
-
So I decided it was a good idea to wind up the front a little bit more, due to the front lip getting caught and falling off for the third time, the fiberglass lip is holding up really well still in one piece.
-
I'm more of a Mitre 10 kind of guy, get a weird vibe from the people in Bunnings...
-
The M20b20 rods are a different length, the m50b20's are a bit longer
-
I still want to be able to relax and drive it so im not going to be pushing for huge numbers if I can get to 300kw i'll be happy, it will see a fair bit of track time but id like to be able to drive to and from the track too. Ya have heard alot of people saying the GC kit gets the car down nice and low I really want to put some 10" wheels on the back one day and get it low, tried some on that were about an et20 and looked good but will need more guard work.
