Cheers mate, better-sized tyres & 10mm spacers help a lot I think. Fronts were too wide before and rears sat in too far, looked weird.

Cheers mate, most of the views are probably me .

Couple of outside shots from today. I'm loving the fitment, smaller diameter wheels but slightly more aggressive offset, suits the car imo. 18s6 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr 18s7 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr 18s8 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr 18s9 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr 18s10 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr 18s11 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr

Good questions. MOHS+ is more durable, lasts longer and looks better than C.Quartz. You can even tell by comparing the photos of my car with C.Quartz a few pages back & with MOHS+. This car is both easy to clean and stays clean longer (ceramics help repel dirt, dust and contamination). For us we get direct support, are certified as applicators (and as distributors, meaning we can sell ceramic coatings as well as apply them), and are part of a wide & established professional network. Give me a bell if you'd like some more info - 021 832 609 | [email protected]

I put my e92 wheels on with new semi slicks today. Shoutout to Nan at The Bling Company for the tyres, and the lads at Autostance for fitting them to the wheels & balancing for me. 18s1 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr 18s4 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr 18s2 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr 18s3 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr

Finally an update..! Spent some time preparing the e92 wheels today & ceramic coated them. I'd put this off because of all the spokes, took a fair while to coat them properly..! Looking forward to putting these back on for the winter months. The tyres on these wheels are good brands but very old & hard, so I'm replacing them also. E92m318s by Christian Taylor, on Flickr

Yeah that's almost the same as what I do to restore alcantara - but keen to learn if there's a better way as it's massively time consuming..! @M3_Power?

HAVE ALL THE LIKES. Great read, loving your progress.

Prepared and coated the bootlid and carbon ducktail with Durabead to compare with Mohs+ Phobic on the rest of the car. Shiny! BootCoat2 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr BootCoat1 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr

Cheers lads. Yep new brakes are in, along with braided lines and new rear pads as of y'day. I also debadged and re-polished/coated the standard bootlid y'day (because OCD). I'm actually dailying this car at the moment while my normal babymomma suv is in the shop getting fixed. Some f**khead decided to whack into it and drive off without leaving a note. IMG_9888 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr I actually miss this car, it's so easy to potter round in! Lol5 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr Lol1 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr

I'm really liking this tint film. It's quite strange, outside it's really light & reflective and indoors it looks quite dark & opaque (both pics taken today): It's been a productive few weeks: As well as all the detailing & ceramic coatings I've added new spacers & tyres, brakes, service and changed the bootlid to give the big wing a rest and change it up a bit. All ready for summer!

Can't remember last time I turned the radio on bro haha. The film is metallised so I doubt it helps reception, but I'm not much of a radio listener so it doesn't worry me. Here's a shot from the side today in different light MtoyTints3 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr

99% UV and 55% total solar from the looks of things: http://www.suntekfilms.com/files/ind_auto_Infinity.pdf

I took my old Car Folie carbon supreme tint film off last week as I've never really been happy with it (mainly the application around the rear glass which I had Seth remove after trying a few things). It just didn't look great having side windows tinted without rear. After sitting in the sun for a day it was enough for me to get some new tints put on today by Nick at Autotintz. Holy sh*t stuff driving a car without tints in summer. On his recommendation I went for super-reflective silver film - I stuck to 35% because law. IMO the lighter colour really suits the combo I have going on. MtoyTints2 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr MtoyTints1 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr

Awesome car, wish I could justify owning something like this. Much jelly, top points good Sir!

Very nice! Bet that's satisfying haha. Care to share your technique?

Car is on stands now, good chance for an underguard detail. One of my rear CSL wheels apparently had a very minor buckle according to my tyre guy, so I had this sent away for repair & to have the barrel repainted a while ago. Now it's back and cured I thought I might as well redo the ceramic coating the rest of the wheels too. It's been a year or so since the last wheel coating, so about due for replacement anywho. Brakes1 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr Coated2 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr Coated1 by Christian Taylor, on Flickr The second CSL brake carrier has arrived from BMW too, so I picked up some race fluid and proper line tools at the same time. Might install my BMW Performance SSK I bought a while ago too, as there's another one I have my eye on - if this doesn't fix the slop in the shifter I'll go aftermarket. It's supposed to reduce throw by 20%-ish, but I'm only really concerned with play. I've replaced the plastic bushing below the shifter twice which made it a little better, but there's still a very small amount of play in the shifter while in gear. While not a major it just feels sloppy and a bit cheap. Same as this, except I didn't order the alcantara boot or knob from BMW (I have a new weighted ZCP already)

New brakes have arrived! I'm waiting on a second carrier so won't install these for a bit. One step closer to the perfect combination M3 haha 20161014_161840_HDR by Christian Taylor, on Flickr 20161014_161851_HDR by Christian Taylor, on Flickr

Mmm Goodridge goodness! 20161011_095949_HDR by Christian Taylor, on Flickr Still waiting for the CSL brakes but I suspect they're coming from Germany so may take a while.
