Hi Jochen Thanks for a great deal Got the stereo fitted - all going well except for CD shuttle plug. I can't get enough spare cable to plug it in. I think the glove box is going to have to come off to find a bit of spare length. I've tried pulling extra out (gently-ish). Got any suggestions? Tim

I hope things don't happen in 3's! 6 weeks ago rocked up to my car at work and there is a note on the window... "Sorry"! Backed into your car with my TERRANO - how that happened I have no idea, as I can't work out how it was physically possible to do that with my car in it's park. Anyway left contact details, they were insured - so got car repaired, drivers side right boot area. Picked the car up on Tuesday, great repair job. Went to Queenstown Thursday morning, coming down a hill right hand bend and there it was - SHEEEP! @#$%^& in my headlights and 2 utes coming at me on there side of the road. Anyway end result, 1 dead sheep, munched headlight, indicator, fog-light, dent on bonnet (sheep's head), cracked spoiler, all a bit stressful at 7.00am. Car still driveable and the lights still worked after pushed back and taped back up! Oh well the panelbeater’s happy to see me again! Anyway, I guess it could be a good plan to upgrade the lights with some angel eyes and clear indicators, since the fronts getting fixed. I’m keen on LED rear lights too. I’ve had a look on TM, all sorts there. Anyone know of any good quality replacement (plug and play) kits?

Great topic - definitely needs a rant It's hard to believe that a country the size of NZ can't get it together around broadband speeds, with such a small population! I tried to support the small guys down here i.e Woosh but moved out of their coverage area so had to get ADSL. Went with XNET, haven't regretted at all, haven't had a problem for over 12 months now. Todays speeds 4500kb/s download and 120kb/s - pretty normal results for me.

Hi Had a great day at Ruapuna on Sunday, had my handycam mounted in the car, here's my first attempt at editing and UTube. Managed a spin on 2nd corner! I've got more footage, so see if I can come up with something interesting...

Hi Thanks for posting this, it's a great find - just had a look at the E36 stuff... Wonder where I could put a start button!

Thanks for the comments guys. The interior is sweet and in good nick, might put some carbon fibre somewhere? I'm running on P6000 perilli's at the moment but might go to Eagle f1's as I wonder what it's going to be like in the wet? I was thinking of going to Ruapuna for the advanced driving day on 1 July, but it would be great to have something here at Teratonga one day???

Hi Been lurking for a bit, recently purchased my new toy, and I'm still grinning everytime I take it for a drive... NZ new 1995 328i coupe, got it with 84k done about 5k already. Had some great drives in it already. Wellington to Ingill (highly recommend! if you ever get the chance). Ingill to Te Anau, Queenstown and Dunedin all about 400km return - trouble is I get home and still want to keep driving! It's a blank canvas, thinking about a light upgrade (clears and angel eyes) stereo. But don't want to deviate too much from original. Great website and resources, good to be here.
