my opinion minimum 17s if you want to go 18s go hard depending on how low it goes other wise find a nice set of 17s with a 1 inch dish at front 2 inch at rear easyer for tyres , look better than 16s , also maybe easyer to find the wheels you like cert i think is 400 ? iv gota go get one soonish for lowering now one thing an alot of people would hate me for it but would you de-spolier it ? hahahahaha just m 2cents

TOUCHY TOUCHY TOUCHY!!!!! then again a well set up car on good? ( I don't know how you define good wheels?) 18's with the correct size wheels abd tyres will handle equally as well as the 17's. ANd who are you to judge who's car is a hacked up sacked out piece of sh@t and who's isn't. Isn't the whole point of this club to be about bmw enthusiasts? Don't flame what you probably haven't seen!!! Everyone on here has different agenda's, some prefer to do performance mods while others prefer aesthetics (looks). Just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean it's wrong! my rant over yo zenettie i have to agree with you, diffrent strokes for diffrent folks my coupe is on four sizes up from 15s and compressed springs with a bitter iner gaurd cut out its all good , so i gess i have a hacked up sacked out piece of sh*t on over to big wheels . peace out!

cheers yeh i thought about that but its not done very common after seaching the net and i wasent to sure,at the moment its getting as much air pushed into the box as factory but is sucking more, im glad to have good feed back as i thought id be told put your factory one in an a k/n panel filter but the noise is great , this was done very professonal set me back 180 the guy had not experience in cars, no plans or design to work off i left the car at his work shop an he just made from scratch the setup has cost me 250.00 allup but when you take in to account what off the shelve ones are including shiping it aint to bad

hi there I had a pod filter setup with piping on before , now i have had a cold air box made , wich is almost completly sealed , there is a fin at the front wich slots infront of the raidiator to direct air , it is mounted on factory mounts so easy to take out the pod is mounted inside the box everything is sturdy , also there is a small cutout at the back for the oxygen sensor i have noticed slight diffrence now also its got an awsome growl ....cheers i would like to here what you guys think and any tips , id like to know how to get more direct air inside if possible also now have a nice bimmersport sticker on back window

yeh there is alot of work in doing this i looked into it for my e36 the guy sounds pretty genuine as im getting him to put halos in the head lights, ill look at the kit at the same time but yeh abit suspect about the manifold you would be better off with the one from driven perfomance listing on TM also that intercooler might be a bit big also you would have to run a piggyback ecu of somesort but at the end of the day its up 2 you and you budjet cheack out this web site gives a really good indication of what works involved http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/products.ph...&comp_id=14
