Ok so now I got my Rims that I was wanting, Downside they didnt have anywhere near as much dish as I was wanting but still look ok to me. Could only get 7" wide with the 4x100 stud pattern and the offset of this car.

Hmm ill have to find out what the offset is from the tyre shop. Ive just got Jamex superlows they arent real real stiff i wouldnt really know, alot stiffer than standard tho i guess... Cheers for the help guys

Hey guys - just need some quick info on fitting a set of 17" 8" wheels to my E30. Will be using 17/215/40's anyone had trouble with guard rubbing using this width of rim? Cheers in advance Luke

Drifty340i, is the link a specific link for the E30 or just a general link ECU all wired up? Spose u cant get piggy back links for BMW either which i have heard arnt to reliable anyway..

Just a question about M50 Non Vanos 2.5L motors..... Ian in Welly has a E30 325i motor and gearbox in storage, would the gearbox of it bolt up to the M50 Non Vanos 2.5L motor? pretty much are they compatable or do i need to get a newer box that came with the M50 Motors? Well finally got my E30 on its ass, as much as i could anyway. Got some Jamex superlows (65mm or something) thanks to Andrew Both front and rear springs were not captive when i put them in until i lowered the car, hope they dont come out due WOF time. Also the front sits slightly higher than the rear which is common ive heard? anyway to fix that other than chopping the springs? Cheers, Luke

Damn 16" eh, tyres are more expensive for them to arnt they? Yea not a turbo project yet will be a while till that happens gotta find a money tree first. Antony's mags look pretty mint, id love a set of these...

Hmm yer i seen those ones someone put up the other day with the mad as dish. They are pretty mint but they are 16" arnt they? I just thought some driftec's would look different but if i can find some bbs that have a descent ammount of dish then mint. Dont want no bling/ricer rims

Hey guys thought id give a bit of an update on the old beast. Tinted the windows at 35% 2 weeks ago, looks ok for a home job (wont show yas any close up pics hah) Oh and over the weekend my uncle valeted her for $150. Consisted of a double buff all over, resprayed bottom half of the front bumper, filled holes in the boot and crack in the bumper and sprayed them, sprayed black on inner guards, resprayed the front grill which had gone grey, polished wheels and shined tyres and a minor shampoo and polish on the inside. Purchased a set of Jamex Superlows of Andrew which have been sent out today so should arrive in the next few days hopefully she looks a bit lower and better pics....

Haha of course, im going to put a descent sized hair dryer along side my motor

Yea i would much prefer M50 being 24V DOHC etc.. Just a matter of finding one at a good price.

Yea me to but thats all that my mates garage can get in at $300+GST For all four corners haha. I work at SuperCheap and can get a set of four King Springs from our supplier for $300 landed. The supplier in Welly said that will be the lowest i could go legally but i dunno how trusty that is. Badass forward rake lol? What is progressive rate? Oh I thought maybe the the front springs in my E30 might have been from a 6cyl E30 put into my 4cyl E30 and maybe it sits higher because they are 6cyl springs which maybe stiffer to compensate for the heavier 6cyl motor? How much for the unmarked brand dude? I'd be keen is that front and back? Cheers again man, Luke
