Some forums said I can't see why not but haven't tried it, some said no because it'll mess up the edc, all the spring listings seem to say 'without edc' for the 540i. I have had good dealings with the guys at stocks in the past, through my old job and personally which is why I emailed them. I was hoping to find out if it was possible with the edc setup then use same springs with some real shocks later. I've just signed the deed agreement to say I agree with the will once that's all signed buy everyone, I take ownership of the cars. Prefer not to do it and go "it'll be alright" drive down the road have a massive suspension failure and write off a car I've only just got.

mainly just get it running at first, make sure everything works fix/replace anything that it needs for its re rego test. Get her legal clear indicator swap all round remove the 540I badge probably replace the 16's would love a staggered set of style 37's or i may just swap the tourings wheels onto this free upgrade lol wanting to keep this a clean and simple sleeper

Finally got around to picking up the 540 had a fun trip saw this on the way saw this on the way back washed it 3 times lol this came out of here the 540 is in so much better condition than the touring was, I'm now leaning towards keeping the 540 and selling the touring, however it does have some down sides, windscreen seal is shot, cracked and braking off and there is a $2 sized chip on the bonnet next to the BMW badge

id swap it for an E39 lol, tbh someone obviously didn't give two shits about it, at least its now gone to a person that will

That's good to know because e39 touring motorsport parts are easy to come buy in the states, but for reference cars are 12v worldwide
