Is there a thread on his build? I did a search and couldnt find anything explaining what he did. Did he have to cut the pipes to make it fit or move the flange? The flange looks like it will clear the strut tower with enough room for a turbo but I dont know if the mass of pipes will clear the chassis rail. @1dvsbm Looking at 1200 for a decent custom manifold I think id rather buy this and chop it up to fit like I did with my M50 one

I found this on the driven performance website M20 Turbo Manifold And yes I know from personal experience that ther E36 M50 turbo manifolds dont fit (they wont post my feedback on the site). So has anyone used one? Any problems with it? Im hoping its not just a flipped left hand drive one.

I didnt read the article but the site looks to be american they dont get as high octane fuel as us. I think 94 is the highest in usa. To answer your question a fuel with a higher octane will help prevent detonation better than a fuel with a lower octane rating. I would use 95 as a minimum in your m3 with its high compression. use 98 if price isnt a worry

Are E39's prone to breaking? I do like the E34's but they are starting to look a little dated IMO and if I was to get a car with older styling I think Id pefer a VK/VL holden. What are the 5 series like in the twisties? I realise they wont be as nimbe as my 325i but are they stable. ie. not boatish Has anyone here modified there 540i?
