Pls stahp.
For the record if we're playing tit for tat, your qualm with my original use of the word was "Lathing is not a word" it is though.
My humblest apologies for using a word that meant what I was meaning to mean.
Inztec 19 The Concourse. Thanks again for the referral.

So I bought a set of spacers today, and found that nearly everything about them bar the stud pattern is wrong for my car.
I've an E36 and the CB of the wheel spacer is 73.1mm. Nobody I've found online stocks hubcentric rings in a 73-72.5mm sizing, and rightly so.
Now my main question is who do you recommend I take the spacers to for lathing? I want to take the ID from 73.1mm - 74mm (E39 hub size)
Is there anyone out there with a lathe that will take pity on me for a couple of boxes / a bottle of your chosen poison?

3pedals you must be new here Gjm I've found another sauce that has the type 2 in 17x8.5 fitment weighing 9.9kg, found here
Soo many conflicting numbers, just buy them and weigh them for a solid answer
-
Thanks! I wasn't sure if they'd reply to something as mundane as second hand, discontinued wheel weights. But if it worked for you I hope it'll work for me
-
The only information I've found on them came from another forum stating that they weighed 10.4kg. I wouldn't trust this but is sounds about right.
The wheel you posted is a type 2 shape.
Personally I've been looking for the weight of BBS DTM RG218 shape, best I've found is some Russian and Japanese sauces claiming 8.4kg
I hate looking for stuff on wheels made in the 90's, next to nothing online about them that isn't hearsay.
Maybe have the mods move this to Wheels & Tyres?

From Pm to him I got:
The spacers are $80 a pair. The longer wheel bolts are $45 for 10. Freight is usually around $15.

Sandblasting's really the only option if you're after something that will last. Sandblast it, rust neutralizer the previously affected area and then finish to your liking.
That said once it's started (obviously depending on severity) it's not going to be easy to get rid of. It'll come back for sure if you do a "she'll be right" fix.

GReddy make them, then Std chuck a graphic on them. I just think of them as GReddy and it puts my mind at ease.

Threw the front calipers on to give me some motivation. Car needs a visit to the Dr, it's caught more STDs. (Before I get slammed yes it's on upside down, was just mocking it up.)
Mmmm bbk

From the little I've read about tracking E36s, often the factory cooling ducts are blocked so the pads reach operating temp.
That said I've a set. Pm me if you want them.

Sold one last week for $50. Could have got probably around $100 maybe more?

Cool thanks, I've sent him a pm just waiting on pics

It's been sitting for a month of Sundays, but still it was spick and span. It had the finest film of oil on everything.
My mate puts it down to all of the Italian tuneups it gets

Replaced the valve cover gaskets on the weekend, got jealous over the room there is in an e34 enginebay Vs e36.
Also marvelled at how clean it was

What injectors for M50 Supercharger upgrade

Browse the US BMW forums, I've read that there's a certain v8 that runs injectors that are a direct match. They were popular with turbo swaps on the US S50.
