That's the one, I'll pm you tomorrow.I have a 328 E36 2.93 factory LSD. Are you wanting to swap diff heads? and you have a 3.64 factory LSD? I am I on the right page here? If so, I could be interested. Cheers.

Have sorted a ZF conversion and would like the matching manual lsd. My car has done 160k km and the lsd is in good condition.
Wanting something lower ratio than 3 (2.92's pretty optimal) is there anyone keen to swap? -
Not as modern looking, plus I've actually still got a good stack of cds but tapes weren't my eraC33 no good to anybody?

I'll offer to buy the driveshaft if it isn't used in the conversion. Also interested in the springs/shocks

Keen to buy a unit, HELLBM is probably the best choice, working close atm.
If anyone in Auckland has one they'd like to sell please get in contact.

Can I just echo this x9000, West Auckland busses hooning on nearly 1way streets are terrifying. But busses need speed bumps the most
Plus if you're on a bike they cut corners coming at you expecting you to yield.

I read somewhere when it was for sale before deregistration that it was one of a few bought in to commemorate something or other. They were various special colours and this was part of that group.
Edit, found something:
"HELLBM 05 Feb 2009
One of 16 J Clayton brought in from SA. Fully M Speced in 4 different colours named after race tracks ie. Macau, Avus,Dakkar etc.."

Can't find what I'm looking for online, perhaps I'm just bad at Google but is it possible to clone a tune from an ecu that's been flashed?

I've a single 9" wheel if you're interested in trying it. Same work as e39 style 32s, that would be max 225-45 and pump the guard layers like crazy, also trimming the inside of the rear bumper near the arch. All in a days workIf you do get some 66s 'd be very keen to find out how much work is needed to get the 9" rears to fit

They're out of an e30 m3 right? So you'd have to assume the factory rails for the e30What type of adapters/rails do they have?
Are they in Chch?

Thanks, I know of one from Nelson that's recently made its way to Auckland. It's got an AC Schnitzer manual in amongst the other original files. Was wondering if there was a specific placard similar to what the newer ones have.As supplied by McMillan BMW back in the day, at a cost well north of $100k. Known as a Schnitzer S3 or silhouette car. It has the Schnitzer catalogue included in the history file.
Believe there were 5 or six come to NZ, there was a green one in Wellington and a blue one in the Nelson region.
The car presents almost as new, and I'm sure the back seats have never been sat upon.
Thanks for the enquiry.
Glws it's a beauty.

Is there any way of checking if it's a "genuine" AC Schnitzer car? Like what sets this apart from any other E36 that has ACS parts on it?
-
Came across this obscenity on UK website, stucco finished Lexus GS.Horrible car anyway, but what the heck!!!Is it sinful that I sort of like it? Finished in black it might not look too bad

After good condition Msport shocks / E36 shocks in good (not leaking) condition. No need for springs.
Thanks

Seller can't spell for quits!
Edit: Might find it's too wide to fit the 3er - I know the 540i Eisenmann box I had was miles too wide, not sure if the Remus / AC will be the same
ohhh yisss thanks for the heads up, I'm planning on running a single 2.75" from the header merge to the muffler and guess which BMW came with a 2.75" inlet on their mufflers?
It's a bit ratty but it'll do the trick

Thanks couldn't find it for the life of me! Since it's going at the end of something somewhat custom it shouldn't matter too badly what it looks like. Might squeeze in there

I'm not sure that they're worth lots, just he probably wanted to secure the deal haha I saw one on trademe last year for $100 relisted multiple times. Too bad I didn't know what I was missing out on. (The tip on them still looks ugly as sin though)

Link to the listing?Haven't seen a dual pipe E36 AC Schnitzer / Remus backbox since Micheal sold the one off his coupe years ago, but there is an E39 540i one thats just been listed. I reckon it's too expensive for a nearly 20 year old used part but it's a sellers market I guess.
Might be too wide to fit in the E36 but worth a look
