If you're after one I can point you in the right direction.

Bought this ballast to fix my headlight but turned out to be a bulb. Has been plugged in to test but other than that pretty much brand new. Photo from the website I got it from. I'm guessing it will fit all 1 series xenon headlights but best to check for yourself.
BMW part number: 63117180050
This is NOT an oem part.
Paid $170 shipped, just looking to move it on so will take anything above $130.
Located Auckland Central but happy to ship.
Thanks.
both headlights work now, old ballast was shot. Cheers

only after selling and having fomo after seeing what it got relisted for two years later. What would you do though if you wanted to get things ironed out? Is it a police matter or VTNZ? Or is the chassis essentially scrap?

now I'm not a lawyer but if i were to convert a car I'd keep my fat mouth shut about doing the deed on the sale post on a public forum. But hey it'll be a great gauge on price for every other 318 coupe when it sells
Edit; for anyone that missed it

These are awesome. Despite not being marketed the same way, they actually did come into NZ in 328i form too; as ZA Motorsport individual models; identifiable by the seat stripes.
and the iron block m52b28, there's been a few sell in the last couple of years. Clearly the better contender if you wanted something more inline with a M3

After title, anyone gone stand alone and ditched the oem one?

As title.

Also have one that can be sold if the price was right (9k minimum ball park)

@coop Any pictures of the iS? I'll be in Hamilton next weekend, might be keen on the seats if they're still available

One before that was over 200k also with no issues other than vanos and timing chain tensioner. They're not fragile engines like the later cars.
310k here with no issues, vanos done around 150k but he's right, rebuilds are stupid money for oem engines
