Obviously none of you have any idea of the potential of the S15. If you want to see GTR's, EVO's and many a BooBaa getting slayed around a track come to the Puke open day on the 1st and the 8th of August. There prob will be no Bimmers though as most of you are show and now go. Or do you want to prove me worng

S15 for me. Best bang for buck. FR layout. Massive tuning potential. Thousands of aftermarket parts. Out performs the 350 and RX8. Hard to find a M3 with under 100,000kms and they are getting old. S2000 with big white guy driving it? Poof but nice car. Evo 7, save some money and get better performance and aggresive looks from a Evo 6 or 6.5.

Well this was on my 180sx not my bmw. But Repco highland park gave me the worng oil filter. It went on fine and was hand tight as normal. But then when I left for uni today I got to the top of the road and the oil pressure light came on and started getting some really loud knocking. Thought I had popped a hole in the block or something. Hard to do at 2000rpm though. Switched the car off, opened the bonnet and found my oil filter just sitting there. I went back to the repco which is just down the road (in another car). A different person gave me the correct filter and it went on fine. Had to buy a whole lot of new oil too. All they did for me was a sorry and a free filter. Not even free replacement oil due to their error. Looking the two filters up on the ryco website I find that they have different thread pitches. One metric and one imperial. Thats why it went on fine in the first place but came off later. Do you think there will be any damage? I stopped straight away. Lucky it didn't happen on the motorway. And its the last time I ever trust someone to give me the right part. Will do it myself next time.

Race school sounds like what I am after. Might give Puke a yell and see who they have for me to contact.

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any driver training programs for teaching racing skills. My brother and I are currently building a race series E30. But he has had no prior experiance on the track. Im taking him to a few open days coming up, to have a run around in my 180sx but it would be best to get him behind the wheel with a decent tutor. Hmm we dont drive the general much these days. Last time it was out my mate was nearly arrested on it for riding it around nude and disturbing the public. Cop thought it was too hard case to take him in though. $600. Man thats a mean price. They are so sh*t slow.

God that kid really out drives the cops. Mind you he is in an M3. Not hard to outrun a American Road Warrior with 350hp.

Motorola is in deep sh*t financialy. Their phone reliability is the worst on the market. Im not saying they are bad to use. But they are poorly made and 1 out of 3 will fail. Dunno about Sagem and the Simply range. No one was stupid enough to buy them from my store in over 2 years. lol

Xtra Go Large for me. I usually get double that after 12pm though and during the day before 3pm. Still sux compaired to the 8mb line I had in the UK at 1/4 the cost of the shitty go large plan. Downloading from Rapidshare during the day I get about 500kpbs. Which is pretty sweet I guess for home in NZ. Go Larger blocks torrent programs though. Think they close ports or something.

The Japs have been doing this for many a year in the drift scene. The main reason is to make the tyre sidewall extreamly hard. So there is no tyre roll at all. It has nothing to do with looks. Looks are the last thing a drifter gives a crap about. Most of the guys you see driving around on the road in NZ that have stretched tyres however are doing it just to get that drift look. And sometimes to actually get the tyres under the gaurd due to the low or negative offsets on their wheels. The Japs will laugh at anything under 9 wide. And big fat ugly tyres look sh*t on narrow rims. Quite often I walk past a car with "Massive" 8 inch wide wheels with horrible looking 255/45's.

We have one of them we call the General Lee. Its orange of course. We picked her up for $50 in perfect condition.

No I havent bothered to claim on anything as I dont have a detailed list of what was in the cars. Also they will use the old "It might have been stolen in Japan or on the boat" bullshit. The ports is a very close community. Its very hard for an outsider to get a job there. Most people you will find are related or mates. When someone leaves, the job gets offered to the next family member or mate. And yes they do thrash the cars. I have been there when a car has gone flatout past me in 1st gear hitting the limiter. Was a brand spanking new Holden Astra fresh off the boat. Makes you wonder if anyone is honest down there at all.

Security at the ports is non existant. You can get the keys from the main office where they are all kept. I recently lost about $3500 - $4000 worth of parts from my two 180SX's I imported. Its the security and dock workers who have the first dibs on you bits. Then the Maf guys have a go as they have more time in the cars. Then the Truck drivers take whats left. This is what someone on the warfs has told me goes on.

On a Motorola I doubt that could ever be possible. It would prob just crash or the battery would run out. Only phones with Wifi can do it from factory. There maybe a program to do it but once again I doubt you would find it for Motorola. Sorry for the hate on Motorola's. But I worked for Vodafone for a few years and they are by far the worst mobile brand on the market that is sold by vodafone. They caused me so much stress.

Mercs only look good in black. And thats coming from my Dad who has a black E55 AMG. After reading tons of reviews about the M3 and a few about the Merc I would pic the Merc. Its something different. But I am not too keen on the front bumper, those little grills annoy me. And I would prefer it if they had the 5.5 Supercharged V8 in the Merc as the 6.3NA is not as quick when comparing other models like the E class AMG. E.g. the 05 model vs the 07 one. 05 is faster.

sh*t Erron your everywhere. I was getting bored by the dry balls journalist. Cant wait to see the Top Gear review. They are the only ones that make it exciting.
