Ill tell you soon. I have looked at retrimming and flocking options. Both are ultimate solutions and in excess of $300 which seems crazy. Decided to buy the paint and do it myself. Worst case I can remove the material and do it properly. The hardest part is getting an even result. The spray can has a really focused spray which makes it hard to get an evenly spread application. I am looking at a 2011 M3 and have read through your posts. I would really like to know if your opinions have changed towards the later model V8 reliability and what you think of the F80 as a comparison? I was speaking to a mechanic today who said I should take the master cylinder off and have it drilled from 19mm out to 21mm. Apparently he did this and it solved the issue. According to him it's because the fly wheel was skimmed but not the casing??? Sounds a little random to me. Sent from my SM-N910U using Tapatalk

Yeah I looked at the other smg convert also. Wow it needed some work. Absolutely no preventative maintanace Ledalone general maintenance like pads and rotors. If I was in Hawkes Bay or similar province then yes. But it's a complete waste in Auckland. I really enjoy cruising in the 530i. Even travelling with the wife I prefer that. Sent from my SM-N910U using Tapatalk
