  5. Wife enjoys going for drives in the car but finds the VADERS very uncomfortable. Want to replace with motorsport leather seats.

    Are the m3 mags 8.5inch?
  8. Which one did you buy?
  9. Avis blue, David, post a shot of yours.
  10. Are you able to fix my e39 03 import, pixel issue? If so, how much could you do it for?
  11. Hey mate, are you home? Keen to take a look at the rack. I Have purchased one but unsure if I'm going to put it in....
  12. Go and have a chat to Sam Gibbons. He has a high end detailing company based in NewMarket - 12 Clayton Street. Attention to Detail. They also sell fantastic car products accompanied by tutorials which are cheaper than autoglym and do the same (in some cases) better job. And yes I have used Autoglym.
  13. Is the slip ring supposed to move freely with the wheel off or be rigid? I have two wheels and one is moving freely, the other not.
  14. I had a similar clunking which furned out to be my diff mountings cracked. Not a major to fix.
  15. Who was it on here that had a tri-spoke steering wheel recovered?
  16. I've heard talk that the z3 rack is a little to quick? And that 3 turns gives a better feel??
  17. Is the steering rack pending? If it doesn't go, how much?
  18. Don't buy the 2.5, step up to the 3L. You will not be disappointed. It's superior in all regards. You'll be fine, just make sure you buy one with. Service history and get it check by Bm Workshop in Grey Lynn or Botany
  19. Good work man! Great to see it all coming together and a real motivator to get on and do mine....
  20. It's called free speech...It was my opinion with statements accompanied by evidence. I'm sorry you feel agrevied, but you just made an idiot of yourself. You will find that most of the guys on here are friends, making a post like that won't get you anywhere. I am more of a "in person" sort of guy, I look forward to seeing you in person again....I assure you we will, Auck is a very small place. Have a lovely evening and congrats on the sale.....
  21. Yup, and have a heap more of different styles. I'll post some pics
  22. I advised my mate to call Ross as the car was close to him and I knew he had worked in it. I believe he did, Not sure of end result though. It's still a good car but the guy either needs to fix the more simple things or lower to a price that reflects the work needed. My M3 is immaculate in comparison and has little to no maintenance required and I feel that I'd probably get about 12 for it based on recent sales. So he may be looking at 8-10 before someone will buy it. If you a BMW mechanic then it may be a very cheap nz new evo!
