Any paint pen from the stationery shop works fine, it's no secret type. Just make sure there's no silicone on your tyres. The only sh*t ones are the ones designed for tyres. The ones with the square nib work best. UNI Posca works well.

Lol sorry the capitals wasn't me yelling it was just to stand out from the other part Yeah I'm on the fence about it eh.. I've checked with LVVTA and there is no rule about how big the wing has to be as long as it is no wider than the widest part of the car being the side mirrors - which it is just more narrow than. So size-wise its fine. In regards to protruding objects etc, you could say the same thing about your average 3x bike holding bike rack etc.. And mines mounted to the chassis so no risk of falling off. I'll see what happens when I go for cert.

You can still rock a diffuser without a bumper, see below, which will be happening when I find one i like. DO REMEMBER GUYS, THIS IS A PROJECT THREAD. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED RESULT! I'll do some photos this weekend, its dark by the time I get home during the week. Yeah that's pretty aggressive mate! I'm still brainstorming where to go from here, but fairly certain I'll be doing something different than just cutting up the stock bumper and putting it back on over the top. Best to keep it as a back up later down the line. So yeah, getting something custom drawn up is the best bet. I need to redo the exhaust too, stock muffler doesnt look the part anymore.

I don't mind, all comments welcome haha. I wasn't expecting it to be everyone's thing. As for the rear bumper, I won't be fitting that over the top. I'll make up some thin black sheets and rivet them on which will smoothen it out. I guess you could say like aluminium door cards etc but for the bumper.

Yep easy enough to mod the bumper, just two slits down each side where the upper arms go. Cheers man

Pieced together last night and fitted in the dark. Took some photos this morning. The light in my carport isn't the best so excuse the upping of brightness on the photos. Wonder what feedback i'll get from you guys..... Lol. Personally I think its the kitties titties

Absolutely no suitability on the street but if I saw one driving down the street I'd be like holy f*ck!

No bumper. Will be respraying and keeping it clean to avoid "sharp objects that can harm pedestrians", and I don't think the wing will fall into that category as its technically the same as a bike rack setup etc. Interesting to see what the law thinks. Cross that bridge when I get to it. This but clean:

Took a bolt off this morning before work to test the theory and am 95% sure the paint was causing the loose bolts. The bolt had a thin layer around the cone which flaked off like sun burnt skin. Will very lightly sand down the cone areas and wheel inners and it should solve the issue. Looks good though

After I quick google search I think MLM is right with the paint coming off on to the wheel bolts causing them to loosen. I searched loose wheel bolts and it came up straight away. I'll take another look tomorrow and see if the theory is correct. In the mean time if somebody thinks it could be something else then let me know! Thanks for the input
-
Ok thanks I'll keep that in mind. Trouble shooting time.. So I've fitted the wheels up and taken it for a test run and after less than 1km driving the wheel bolts become loose.. I stopped and retightened and once again they became loose very quickly. Has anyone come across this before? I'm running 20mm spacers with extended bolts (I used these on my bbs rx no problem). Also have hub centric rings on the spacers. Bizarre.

If you're not worried about brand names: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Neuton/NT5000.htm And they are priced well at under $140 each.
