Looking good Ash.
I should have the wheel thing sorted in a few weeks
-
Yeah I run the tint place in Takapuna.
You must have seen it driving past?
No, I saw your sharp tinting deals on Trade Me
-
Definitely an improvement over stock. Your username suggests you are from the tint place in Takapuna?
-
Awesome that makes things easier. There are a few palmy members on here that should be able to point you in the right direction. I am in Auckland so can't really help sorry.

Use your towbar and mount a rack.. It uses about 20% less fuel than a roof rack, and you get far less bug splatter
-
Better hurry too, GST is about to go up!
Hence - " to the end of this month"

A customer just bought in a set similar to these for his X5. He was quite excited about them and couldn't wait to show me.
Everyone has different tastes and opinions otherwise the world would be a boring place
-
Yeah i dont no how to resize? Haha ill try doing that now...
Another way is just to compress your pics using Microsoft picture manager. Even I can do it so it must be easy
Before you go importing wheels come and talk to us, I have a feeling you will be pleasantly surprised.

Haha sweeet, that answered my question, I went to Hyper Drive in Penrose
We are in Penrose too. Next time pop you are over this way pop in and say hi. We always like any excuse to sit down , have a coffee and talk BMW's
BTW: i can't believe a "professional" actually suggested compressing springs
. It would be far better and probably cheaper to put in adjustables.
-
Happy Birthday Dave. May your day be filled with many BMW pressies!
-
looks pretty low to me. Don't forget the front guards are cut higher than the rear so that is why it won't "tuck" at the front.
-
Im tempted to hit buy now and request pick up just so I can punch whoever is selling them in the arm.
They are a Trade Me store, save your money and click on his seller details for his address

Hi there the offset is 42 and i want to put 215 40 18z on but im wondering whether 215 35 18 wil fit on a 8 inch rim :S i could also get my guards rolled it that would help.. *i want the car to be as low as it possibly can be.*
Don't bother getting your guards rolled you don't need it. Don't go 215/35/18, use a 215/40/18. Which brand did you end up going with?
Legally you can only go to 100mm off the ground wuithout getting your car certed. U have springs here brand new with ful warranty for $399 fitted.

what an awesome first BMW to own!!
Welcome along to the forum, +1 on seeing Glenn at Botany Motorworx. He would have to be one of the most knowledgable guru's around when it comes to anything BMW

The BIG advantage with Tomtom is that you can download map updates from the internet. Our Navamn while being very easy to use is now 3 years old and completely out of date. On new motorway sections we get "please go the nearest road". We can buy new maps on an SD card but I am sure it is about $250 so we may as well just buy a new GPS Unit. Next time I will be going to a Tomtom.
-
Also remember that those measurements are to the inside of the rim lip not the outside so you wil need to add the width of your rim lip as well.
-
He just asked if we wanted to swap his 22's for some of our 19's. The response was of course a polite no thanks.
-
Thank you boys,
I was quoted $6000 for the set of 4, inc. tyres and fitting. Might have been 18inch quotation.... can't remember
Not sure if this is a good deal.
I hope that price was for genuine wheels
Where are you located? If in Auckland you could pop in and see us, we can do 19's for around half of what you have been quoted so far.

stunning example - go get it!
