    545i M-Sport NZ NEW

Hey Graham bit OT but do you live down near the city somewhere? I saw you turning onto Franklin Road on Saturday afternoon.... well actually the wife saw the car, and generally she never speaks up! Car looks hot!
  3. Do you know something the rest of us don't? Which ones are they selling?
  4. I have given this all some serious thought and have come up with a SUREFIRE WAY to win the election............. CUT GOVT SPENDING!!!!! Hear me out though........... cut the amount of politicians we have, freeze their salaries or cut them, limit the amount of free travel they get and we will save BILLIONS . For a country with the population of most major cities around the world we have a huge amount of red tape to cut through. I can see you guys queing up to vote for me already....... Now.. which party shall I align myself with
  5. How can you say Labour have NOT done a bad job? We have slid down just about all the OECD ratings to an embarrassing point! the sooner Uncle Helen and and her pitbull Cullen go the better.
  6. I am lucky enough to have Rodney Hide as my MP and will be voting for him again. My party vote will definitely NOT be LABOUR, after 9 years they have managed to leave this country worse off than when they first came to power. We really have become a welfare state, it still amazes me that a lady I know who has 2 kids can take home $1300 a week by working less than 20 hours a week AND claiming working for families AND some other form of benefit, whereas I work hard for 45 hours a week and get nowhere near that amount AND I PAY MY TAXES to support her!!! If Labour do somehow manage to con the masses and get back in again, I have told the wife we are moving to Australia. Cue the Pro- Labour retort
  7. "weather" = the day-to-day atmospheric conditions, such as temperature, cloudiness, and rainfall, affecting a specific place "whether" = used to introduce an indirect question
  8. Hey mate Do you mind if I steal one of your pics and put it on our website? Car is looking good! cheers Johno
  9. Unfortunately Nicks post about offsets while partially correct, is actually quite vague. We really need some more information about the wheels before we can give you some clear and accurate advice. Depending on what year and model your E30 is the factory offset could be anywhere between 27 and 35. The best thing to do is ask the seller what width the wheels are as this is very important in determining whether or not the wheels will fit. Also take into account what others have said about X-Factor (brake clearance) EDIT: Upon looking at the wheels further it sems they are 3 piece so it is possible to change the offsets on them by changing the lip etc. Seems like they will fit although it may take some extra "work".
  10. I had the same problem a few days ago. I deleted all the cookies. history etc, rebooted the computer and it has been working fine ever since.
  11. CHEATER!!! has been posted before! How about this.......... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C.../p-70394200.htm or this with lots of SPEAR parts http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C.../p-73711270.htm
  12. Jamex rents part of our building - pm me with what you are after, also has 6 point FIA belts in stock
  13. I would suggest running a 225/40/18, the 318 doesn't need a 235, the 225/40/18 is also closer to OE diameter. All the tyres you mention are reasonable quiet. The CT01 is not directional so in theory should be the quietest of them all, really it just comes down to how much you are wanting to spend.

    BBS LM

We can also get all those wheels, but as Apex stated BBS are very very expensive through the NZ agents
  15. something like this? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-175113971.htm
  16. Hey Matt welcome aboard - just curious did you buy our 16" Alpina style wheels?
  17. Did you guys ever think those photos may be of the same style wheel but in a 3 series offset?
  18. correct E30 M3 = 5 series offset E36 M3 = 3 series offset E46 M3 = 3 series offset front, 5 series offset rear other than that 3 and 5 series are not interchangeable
  19. Just traded these in and have listed them on retardme: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-174926169.htm They are all in excellent condition - will negotiate with fellow bimmersporters. cheers Johno
  20. 16" x7.5 factory E39 5 series wheel on an E36 = DOES NOT FIT!!!!
  21. Did you ask about the offset on TM? I noticed he has put 7jj which would indicate the wheels are 7" and NOT 8" wide. Short answer = no Long answer The wheels from a 5/6/7 series stick out too far on a 3 series. Just to clear things up the lower the offset the further out the wheel will sit. 5/6/7's generally run around 20 et factory. 3 series generally run around 40 et factory. Also the wider the wheel the further out it will sit as well. These wheels may just fit at the back but will defitiely stick out at the front = FAIL WOF!! If you run spacers as suggested earlier the wheel will stick out even further! I have some 16x7.5's here at 20 offset which I will stick on an E36 and take a photo for you and post up later to show how far out they sit. cheers Johno
  22. Hey guys and gals thought I would post up a pic of a new wheel we have just landed. It is only available in 18" for E36 and E46. M3 style wheel with machined face and gunmetal accents cheers Johno EDIT: 18x8 ET +40
  23. WTF Where do you guys come up with your information? They have come off a 6 series = 5 series offset. 3 series and 5 series run different offsets = NOT COMPATIBLE!!
  24. 215/40R17 or 245/35R17 are the 100% correct upsize tyres, but as mentioned the 245/35/17 is getting quite hard to find. laurence seems to have done all the hard work for me . I was actually going to suggest going to a 235/40/17 if you wanted something slightly taller but have been beaten to the punch. The F1 assymetric is at the top end of the price tree but will still be well under $300 a tyre cheers Johno
