not too bad but i suspect you could get a better one for that price.. imo i would go for either a 318 or a 323 or 325.. the 320s seem to be the slowest of them all. i got my facelift 325i for 1200 so there are deals out there. just keep your eyes peeled.

Just pulled the box from my parts car. and it looked a little differet from your normal getrag. i found numbers. M60 on the side. on the back i found someting like. 242.00.29101 or near to that. it was definatly 242.00.2 but the last bit was a bit tricky to read.. also there is only 1 rubber mount at the back. it also seems to bolt onto the tunnel an inch or 2 further back than a normal getrag. the reverse light switc is next to the tail shaft pointing backwards. not on the side. also when driving 1st is where 3rd should be and reverse were 1st should be. the rest are the same relative to 1st and rev. it came out of a pfl 323i e30 Anyoe shed some light? ok. have dug out the docket so here are the details.. overhaulled by The Gearbox factory. date 12/6/07 Total cost $2004.30 Job involved. remove/replace auto trans Strip inspect, rebuild of trans components. Rebuilt tourqe converter. Parts where Master rebuild kit. 8ltrs of dex3 oil. any questions feel free to ask.. will put on tm next week

Hey guys.. manual conversion time has come at long last. so i have an auto trans out of my e30 for sale... it was rebuilt sometime in 2007. not sure exactly when.. will have to check and let you know. i have the paperwork from the rebuild. $2000 odd spent on it... again will confirm when i check it. it drives like it was brand new. no bumps, clunks, wines. etc. cant fault the box. not sure what type of box it is or if there is more than 1 type in an e30 but its from a 1990 s.a 325i. i could not tell you if it will work in other models and if so what. maybe someone can confirm?? Im looking for $300 for the complete trans and torque converter.

just run the high speed and leave the low speed disconnected... this is what i did. doesnt cause any problems. i suspect one of th 2 2pin sensors is a temp switch not a temp sensor. and just wire in like has been discussed and just use the high speed wire.

^^ +1 ohh and i know because my "hot cam" has caused the tourque curve of my racecar to be non existant. instead i have no tourque what so ever before 3000rpm and even less after 4000rpm. it is because the grind and the timing of the cam is wrong. there is too much overlap and the motor is just falling on its arse because of it... sounds lumpy at idle. makes you think its quicker but as i have just found out really its not.

imo all whites should have gone hard in the 2nd half and played as offenceivly as possible. they had nothing to loose. i think they played defence for too long and never had the chance to score... but that said they have done well.. maybe another apearance next time.. and i dont think we will be taken for granted so much next time

imo no.. what are you trying to achieve? do you have some kind of performance project lined up? if so where are you wanting to take this car performance wise? if your staying with the e30 brakes then brembo rotors and some ebc or mintex pads will be pleanty. if your going big hp and need biig brakes you can get brembo, ap etc etc kits but they are not cheap from what i gather.
