^just drive up to a tree and then just plant foot... its a volvo. if anythings going to loose it will be the tree...
-
the 325i manifold and tb will work.. you will have to adapt a few things but it can be done, and headers always good... but imo its not worth doing that to a b20.. just get a b25 and then do it.
-
cant say ive heard of that before in an lsd... but yeah it would be fixable, but may be cheaper to get another lsd unit.. about $5-600
-
somwhere like sd euro is probs ur best bet.
-
nothings beyond repair if you have enough money... as far as i am aware the lsd units are pretty indestructable and if anything is going to break it will be the rest of the diff around it.... whats the symptoms?
-
75mm makes it seem like a 4wd compared to mine... im working on a fix at the moment but i feel your pain. ohh and bigger front tyres will help it a billion times over.
-
^wow that sux... ohwell i am asuming the megasquirt system will be worth the extra money once installed??? i am guessing more accurate and intricate tuning?

easiest way i found was to remove the motor, pull off rocker cover, remove the rocker shaft retaining key at the front of the head. gently knock the rockershafts out with something like a long extension, when the extension wont go any further you can put a rag around the bit of the shaft that is poking out and gently rotate it with vicegrips (be gentle) and rotate it back and forth while pulling it out. make sure you remove the rocker retaining clips and before the shafts are out keep the rockers and shafts all ordered and round the right way. the rockershafts are tapered so will only fit one way. then you can remove the cam, when refitting make sure the cam is on the lowest points when you put the rockers back onto it.

just called them. they cant help... anyone else?

hey guys. i have some bilstein shocks that are for a 46mm strut. i have 51mm struts and i need the oversized collar that fits into it. its the collar that screws in the strut to hold the shock in. and yes the oversized collar does exist as i USED to have them. and no changing the struts is not an option. if anyone has any or know where to get them that would be awsome... thanks oli

those wheels and that front bumper look nice man.... is that macas carpark?
-
ah yeah... its a bitch to drive... it bottoms out on just about everything.... owell... the new bilsteins and hard springs should help stop it traveling so far when i go over bumps...
-
my race rims arnt hubcentric.... dont have any issues with them... just make sure they are nice and tight, they dont wobble or anything.
-
^smaller tyres? are you kidding? then it would be beached and be a true garage queen... im sorting something at the moment that should stance it abit more and we will see how that goes.
-
wow, thats awsome. i will have to take some of mine after i wash it... not as good as urs but new paint job so fairly shiny. ohh wait.. heres a pic that gives you an idea. nothing flash tho

cant see a photo, and couldnt tell what wheels you were talking about by the trademe link. -
Can i just lower the front suspension.
pureboiracer replied to cliffdunedin's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
if you preffer looks to handling... asuming this is not going to be a full blown racecar. how about 30 in the rear and 50 in front. or maybe get m3 suspension. a 50mm rake will be awful to drive with, a 20mm rake not so bad.. wont be no race car but it will give you the look without loosing TOO much handling.. but yeah. its all been covered allready so not much to add. -
notice the m3 rep is no longer an m3 rep??? the guy sent me a shitty email after i nicely told him of his mistake. so i told trademe. lol... thatl teach him to piss me off.

sounds like either a faulty pump, blocked line or air in the system
