no front lip... shift gaiter??? i asume you mean the boot around the gear nob? im keeping that for my other car. um pretty sure it has rear speakers, will double check and let you know. its tricky when the cars at the olds...

^lol, if you can put up with oil leaks then just see how it goes, but it will only get worse... hookups? old oil from the local fish and chip shop???

wasnt sure weather it was paper or rubber, anyway my point was, was a gasket used or was the gasket made with just gasket goo (rtv) from the above posts i think you should start removing your crossmember and all and replace that gasket again. get a good gasket and also apply gasket goo to both sides of it.

im not too worried about scratching it... more concerned of the following police officer having to dodge sparks. may have to stiffen it up with billies and some F.O sized springs so it doesnt travel so much.. will get the bigger tyres and go from there.

ok, its visually pleasing but completely impractical, the sump guard is a whole 35mm off the ground, it bottoms out just driving over man hole covers..... not good. going to have to get a slightly bigger tyre in the front and lift the front and rear a fraction. only 5mm or so but just enough so that i can drive it.

whens it ever normal for a new gasket to leak???? if it is coming out of a small section around the sump try just nipping up the appropriate bolt just a quater of a turn or so. if that fails, remove it, replace gasket and apply some rtv. if you have had the sump welded on at all it is quite possible it has warped. sorry i just re read your post, so i am asuming you have used only gasket glue, no paper gasket? if so that is ur problem.

fix everything that you know is "buggerd" and go from there.

do a compression test on #6, also inspect the spark plug and compare it to the others and tell us what you find... check your idle control valve.(fl or pfl?) check and recheck for any manifold vacuum leaks. recheck the injector you fitted. recheck for any blocks in the fuel rail or anything. check tappet clearances, try swapping #6 lead and plug with another and see if that makes any difference

if it was a bad coil it would cause a miss aswell as lack of power, and it wouldnt really be intermittent... sticky vanos is quite possible... if i were you take it to glenn in botany and get him to have a look.. cant really fix it without seeing it.

your timing is disasterous

can you post up a vid of it? does the idle fluctuate or hunt? how does it sound when its running? is there an intermitent miss or a constant miss? double check good spark to all cylinders, also remove leads like you did before to check that its only the 6th cylinder at fault.

Hey guys. found my waterleak, turns out it leaking in the top of the left rear tail light... anyone got a good light seal lying around???

no worries.. you will have to come up and grab it all sometime... i had a look at that trim you wanted.... seems to be ok.

pretty sure they are illeagle, dont know much about them though
