Hey guys i have a spare set of 51mm struts lying around if anyone is interested in them. $100 for the pair. also have a pfl 323i manual that i am parting. engine is pending sale, manual conversion and front struts are mine. everything else is up for grabs. its a 2dr coupe, no sunroof, cracked dash, matt black, lowered rear suspension. unsure of diff. blue cloth interior in average condition. has a 6 series steering wheel, short rear springs and shortend shocks. not sure how much drop but it tucks the bottle caps into the guards by about 2-3mm was all certed so who ever done it did it right. also has some different exhaust on it, not loud but slightly throaty.. will get some pics soon cant think of anything else.. let me know what you want and we can sort something out. 0274839222 cheers oli

More suspension settings
pureboiracer replied to _ethrty-Andy_'s topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
i run 0 toe on my racecar. seems to do the job, you wont really notice the effects of toe untill you start getting into seriouse race stuff like v8 super cars and so on, e30s are too crude for it to make any kind of noticable difference imo. but i have to get another wheel alignment in my racecar now so i might throw in a couple deg of outwards toe and see what happens. the theory is there but i dont see any point in doing so on a road car. -
no theres a cab around the same colour. real minter too

More suspension settings

ofset cabs should be fine. i have the noltec ones in my racecar with 17s and it doesnt rub... keep recommended toe settings, no point in changing it to anything else, you will only wear tyres quicker, and its not like its a dedicated racecar. as far as i am aware the struts are the same apart from diameter. imo 205 50s should be fine... or 205 45 if you want a slight stretch look. also i believe the 205 45 is JUST over the standard rolling diameter. so yeah i guess if you have rubbing probs get the 45s if not just leave it -
EOI: maybe group buy, e30 Rear Subframe Camber & Toe Correction Ki

these are the good ones to get, the offset bushes just slip out of place. -
36.... my bad....
-
read the OP he has said they are not genuine...
-
i like the e30... but what was the owner of the 1st one thinking.... man it looks awfull.
-
allow for about 800 at a garage.. inc labour and parts...
-
^yep, will be one of the above... dont leave it until it completely fails otherwise you will probably have to grind the melted release bearing off the input shaft. this happened to me once..
-
really hard to say without seeing it... most likely will just need to replace the hose,
-
i doubt it would inc mirrors at that price... i would be all over these if i wasnt broke..
-
probs just alignment is slightly out in the back... do you live up a hill? any windy roads on ur normal journeys? any substantial corners that could be causing the wear?
-
i dont mind the front, i just donot like the back... i think i would rather have a 1 series the back is too high and the wheelbase is too short, also the roofline drops way too much, looks like a cross between a prius and a crx

i do love this paint scheme, looks tops...
