just to clarify my 1st post is only a thought at this stage, i dont see why it would sound as bad as some people are saying aslong as you insulate it and build it right, but thats my opinion. i guess theres only one way to find out exactly how it sounds.

Don't understand what you're saying. Having the magnet side of the sub facing forward or backward doesn't make any tangible sound quality difference. i think he is getting confused with free to air subs, as long as one side of the sub is sealed from the other then it will work fine either way, only when both sides of the sub are not in some sort of box or sealed unit will it sound useless, and thats when you get a free to air sub.

i think its something along the lines of you do not need a spare wheel, it is not a legal requirement by law or for wof, ie you can carry a can of puncture repair in a can if you want, but should you break down on somewhere that can cause an accident or is dangerouse to you or the public and it is something that you could have avoided ie puncture, ran out of gas, then i think you can be prosecuted under the careless driving law, kind of like a negligence thing.

hey guys, im after a clutch master and slave cylinder for an e30, also need the hydrolic line to link the 2 and a clutch and brake pedal. or if anyone has some reasonably priced manual conversions you could tempt me. cheers guys. Oli

ive just got a cheapy charger. seems to do the job well enough just make sure its a lead acid battery not a calcium battery. calcium batterys require special chargers.

Hey guys, i am going to be building a setup to contain my 12" sub and amp in the spare wheel well on my e30, yes you loose your spare wheel but when looking into the boot you will not see a thing and you can put stuff on top of it without damaging the sub. if anyone wants coppies let me know, not sure on prices yet but it wont be much. hey guys. heres my shopping list so far. 2 rear axles with good cv boots bonnet release cable, handle and bonnet catch. a crack free dash if anyone has one. the front valance lip for a facelift 325i. thats all i can think of at the moment but will update the list soon. Cheers oli

Hey guys, Selling a spare set of 17s that i have. The rims were originaly silver but were etched and powder coated, 2 of the wheels have been stripped down to the primer. (thanks to the careless groomer boy at work.) All they need is to be re powdercoated, probably around 50 bucks to do both wheels, They come with tyres with about 7mm tread on them. Either want to sell or swap for some 16s or 17s $600 ono Cheers Oli

is the resistor pack part of the switch unit or is it located somewhere else? anyone want to try and sell me one?

Hey guys, the heater and demister fan in my e30 only works on full speed (#4) Who knows what the problem is? im picking that the resistor is in the switch and that the resistors have open an open circuit? Cheers Oli
