Hey all, I just have a couple questions, firstly, on the exhaust down pipe flange (the one closest to manifold) The 3 bolts are getting dangerously close to being rounded and was wondering if there is a trick any of you guys know in getting round bolts off, bearing in mind their in a reasonably tricky spot, Secondly, what is the exhaust made of, ie what metal? Thirdly, what type of bolts should I buy? Made out of the same metal? Sorry for dumb questions yet again. Cheers.

idle control valve is stuffed, or theres a vacuum leak, or both, there are other reasons im sure but these are common, mine used to be weird, normal when started cold then once warm very high, was a combination of the idle control valve being stuffed and a vacuum leak

It all depends, what paint? would you be doing any of the prep work yourself? It can get quite exspensive, as already said $2k, i'd say anywhere from that upwards, you could cut a few costs by choosing not to paint engine bay things like that and just do strictly the exterior, im out west and there a couple decent panel beaters here that have done work of a very high standard and it didnt break the bank, drachovic panelbeaters (not sure on spelling) on west coast road are good for painting, (in my opinion) E: typosssss

Cheers, used old stuff but it was only sitting for about 2 or 3 weeks as it came out of a friends car, will bleed soon, replacing alot of stuff soon so will do a general overhaul, cheers!
-
I think its coming from the slave cylinder, and to add to that, i havent re-bled the clutch since the conversion which I should do,
-
Hey all, since I did my manual conversion I havent had a single problem, except a slight squeeking noise coming from my clutch area/lines I suspect there is air in the lines as it feels slightly spongy in the pedal, am I correct in saying this??? And also it still engadges, drives, like a dream so no problems there, is there much to be worried about? No slippage or anything, will get round to bleeding clutch sometime soon, but nothing big to worry bout? Cheers. Alex.

QuickSilver replied to SUSPENSION's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
If I wasnt already lowerd i'd jump at this, this is damn cheap! -
For sale... 2 bottles with brand spanking new tyres, 7mm left on both tires, on bottles, tires are, 185/r14/60 brilliant for wof, open to offers. E: I realise these are as common as rain from the sky, but are cheap tires with tread that will last a lifetime.
