So, I feel the time has come that I post an update thread, i've wanted to do this for ages but I said I wouldnt do it until i'd done the manual swap, so having that done, I can happily write this thread I am gonna put up all the work done, be it big or small, I picked up my e30 late march this year, and since then its under gone some changes. - Lowerd on King springs - New battery - New bonnet + respray - New bootlid + respray - Rear end respray - Rust cut out of rear quarter panel + painted - Rust cut out just behind rear window + painted - Broke and repaired front skirt - New throttle body - Full Beige leather interior (looks great against the silver) - Resprayed all the black trim black again - All red tails - Manual conversion and all associated parts - New alarm remote! - New rear speakers, - New Headunit - New idle control valve - Bimmersport stickerd of course! Thats about the note-able changes for now, quite a few in just over 7 months in my opinion, car looks great and runs like a dream, and I still have lots of plans, although im slowing the pace down a bit now lol. What are peoples thoughts?? Im quite pleased with myself haha Ill take a new pic tomorrow, but the one in my sig is pretty up to date, it just doesent have the interior, manual or stickers in it, ill take a few new ones tomorrow and post up, Cheers!!!

yea hard to go without an e30 hahahah im just gonna write up an update thread so check it out, good to hear you have a touring that was my original e30 dream but I ended up liking sedan shaped e30's, edit: typo

haha I only get that on some pumps lol but not very often if thats the case I have to stand there and hold the stupid pump, but anyway hows the new e30 goin?

Hey mate, manual conversion is fully worth it, the parts didnt even set me back very much, and if you'd like I can make up a check list with all the parts you need and even right a how to for the whole swap, the reality is its not hard at all, just like Bravo said, basic knowledge is all you need and plan and ask questions.. I sure as hell asked Bravo a sh*t load hahah!! (sorry bravo) but i'd rather ask than f**k it up, i'll be posting up a proper how to on the pedals (cos I would have loved one) with photos and all sometime soon, and i'll write up a swap guide on the whole thing if anyone wants it, I just dont have photos for the swap, just the pedal box. I'd say go for gold, and its one hell of an improvement thats for sure,

its the rubber seal that seals off the cabin that im after,

Hey everyone, i've just finished my swap in the e30, and the last thing that needs doing is putting gear box oil in hahaha, but I dont have any allan heads EVEN CLOSE to the size of whats need on the gbox, where can I buy? or borrow one I need it for maybe 10 minutes, this is the last thing left and I really wanna get it done, Any help? my e30 isnt very low and its always the first thing to hit the ground, so if that wasnt there i'd have cracked my sump a billion times or more by now, mines off at the mo but i'll be sticking it back on, I think its handy, its clunky and heavy though

are there any bolts out of the auto tranny that will fit? how much would these bolts cost?? from engineers?

i think their kinda funny lol, but dont like em myself, also crack up bout motorway,

old car - bought car, blew head gasket, and destroyed half of my engine, had it rebuilt $1.500, then someone jabbed a screw driver through my radiator lost water, drove on motorway etc etc blowing it up again, $800 this time, then it was broken into $600 worth of stuff stolen, then it was broken in a 2nd time $600 stuff stolen aggaaaain, then the whole car got stolen, taken on a police chase, two tyres popped, driving on mags, = whatever car value was, and then incidentally it wasnt worth much because instead of the insurance paying $4000 they paid market value of $1.5, intermitant car - bought it to fix, cost me $600 in fines (just by driving round my block) , no rego, no wof and failing to indicate (since indicators were still on my to-do list) spent $400 to try and fix, at which point it got stolen. bmw e30 - current car , so far, stuck thermostat $0, ding to rear about $600 but it was getting all resprayed anyway, so it just sped up the process, and blown fuses $0.30, mild in comparison lol.

its not the small mount bolted underneath the console type area ?? in whch case I did get it, edit: couldnt see picture before, and yeap I got number 8,
