Josh, getting back to the flywheel business, apart from the free revving side of things, what other advantages is there having the single mass flywheel and sprung clutch over the dual mass and solid state?
-
I want those wheels.Jeff if you end up getting it i have some 15" basket weaves we can do a straight swap on
-
If you look closely, you can see green back seats so i'm guessing front too.
-
Haha yep the seller.

Mate for 3 grand it would proberly be worth you going and having a look, it looks spotless(ish). Sounds like a good deal to me. Or get them to take it to a dealership up there to get a check done on it.

Haha, my grown up version (E34) is good enough for me.

Different car, unless he has changed the intake setup? Edit: What a awsome road. -
Note could also be the waterpump, if the fins are corroded to nearly nothing you will get it overheating when idling then when driving (revving) the temp goes back down, worked on a few cars where this was the problem. Just a thought.

Up to you to put bigger brakes on it then, i believe it would be a huge waste of money and time doing anything to it however! -
Just to add on that, the coolant in the engine would have loved the gaskets it would have eaten being a non runner for 20 years.

Hence the price. Still a cheap "new" M5.
-
My bad, clearly didn't see that.

A lot of hard work and prides gone into this project, a big well done from me. If you really want a challenge, getting the engine back out ha.

Gotta be one of the best looking ones on BS.

If the rocker cover gasket is leaking then it's a pretty cheap repair by replacing the gasket itself. Roof lining will need to be removed and repaired, easily doable. It probably just has the M body kit and badges fitted to it, you never know these days.

That guy was nearly crying, why couldn't he trade his jeep in for it, what a waste!

Point the wheels, put your foot down kind of car.
