Will keep my eye out mate, thanks for the heads up!
  2. The Courage tipped today at the port in Jersey City causing major damage to over 300 BMWs not including 70+ BMWs that were total losses. a majority of the destroyed vehicles were M3s (mostly in dark blue) with a variety of 3ers and 1ers smashed up as well. A small number of the cars destroyed had German Tourist plates on them, those European delivery customers will NOT be getting their cars back. If you were expecting your M3 or e90/92 in the next month, you're going to be in for a sad surprise. those cars that were a total loss will be crushed, I asked a BMW rep, he stated that they will not be auctioned as there is a liability for letting those cars on the road. The shipping company's insurance is footing the bill, I do not know how they will handle those cars that are already owned by the European Delivery customers. Those cars with light damage will be repaired at the Elizabeth Receiving facility and sold through BMW's dealer network as new cars. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=911343
  3. How many Ks has it got and is it road registered?
  4. I only brought up this topic after having a look at your 330i at the latest BS meeting. I like what you have, the stretch isnt over the top but still obvious enough to be considered as a stretch. What do you mean by "beeding issues"...
  5. Whilst the mind drifts off the concentration of the road.....
  6. Some people have tyre stretch to give it that drift look, others have to do it because their cars are too low. I have heard many people saying how its not good to stretch tyres but what are the side-effects? well, I meant negative side-effects?
  7. 540i has got a lot more power than the 328i, are you sure it is not you being more used to the 540i? If you are for certain, you can carry out an engine pressure test, should the pressure be lower than expected, then your engine power should be lower than usual. I dont think 110,000Km is too much, but you never know...

Not really knowing much about M10 or M20 engines myself but I have been thinking of getting a E30 manual myself, having seen so many on TM, most of them having knocked heaps on the clock. Is 200,000K still going to give me quite a bit of life to live? I aint got much money, so I aint looking for the perfect E30, just something I can drive around for a while but I just need to know that something with 200,000K+ on the clock is still going to give me reliablity?
  9. Send me PM with email to send to.

    Welcome to 2008

Are you coming to the meet on Thursday Andrew? maybe a few suggestions can be thrown across the tabe...
  16. I dont actually believe there will be much performance increases with this kind of modification, I would suspect there would be some kind of very small power gain once a cold airbox unit is fitted as this allows cooler air to surpass into the filter. As we all know, cooler air, more dense, thus more O2 per unit volume.
  17. Thanks bro, next up is the heat shield...
  18. My M43 isnt that noisy? It really sceams hard once you hit 4000RPM right up to redline, doesnt sound like big bore at all, and if I want quiet then just drive it at higher gears...no droning...
  19. NUTZ bro...how far are you off the ground?
  20. Thanks to PBOY and some of his handy work, within a few minutes... Simota filter Simota adaptor Custom 3" pipe 3" 45 Degree Silicon
  21. Just before we had our talk before I left haha...about you not going lower
  22. Well, its not fair for me to put what I felt on the 335 into respectives on the 135, but since they do share the same engine, Ill say that the 135 will have a pretty big fist for a little guy, surely to KO some of those other cars within the same field... Handling on the 335 is great, on normal it handles lightly, a very brisky drive, push down "Sport" and you get a more solid feel, gears go up to redline and loose a bit traction actually...
  23. yea bro, talk about 335...I was driving one today, and boy that 3.0L loves to rev...its already quick fast on the 3 series, let alone on the 1 series...
  24. true true...but dont get cheeky, I was up close and had a good look at it for quite a while too...
