That is very true but thats all that matters when getting into university. Then again, university degree are worth dick in the real world? I know the game sucks but you just have to play the game in order to survive!

Hi guys, I saw a Pioneer headunit on Trademe, model number DEHP6950IB, I was wondering if this headunit would require any additional wiring or just simply plug and play. It was said that the headunit of BMWs were originally made by Alpine. Thus, would purchasing an Alpine headunit save me the complication of doing the custom wiring? Thanks!

Do E36 Coupe and Sedan have same bonnet size?
international replied to international's topic in Appearance
Hey appreciate it, thanks very much. -
Pboy is running 8.5" with some 235 rubber, looks slight stretch but nice...
-
Slightly? looks like theres a metal brim over the rim haha...
-
It was meant for wide wheels with massive dish, wheels with 9"+ without tyres that wide to suit, thus causing the stretch, but people nowdays are over doing it using not so wide wheels and putting narrow tyres...7.5" with 195s

School C was a great system but the only let down is the fact that students can screw all year and just do well at the end of year exams to gain the specific grades of the year where as NCEA requires student commitment for the whole year. There is a specific group of New Zealanders who never did well at school, thus NCEA was made easier to pass with Achieved, however, Merit and Excellence are extremely hard to achieve. As a result, this makes the NCEA a system that does not fully show the true potential of each student, whilst you have many, in fact most of the students passing without many passing in the high grades, this results in the degrading of the system itself which makes NCEA look bad compared to other systems such as Cambridge / IB. Cambridge in my opinion is probly the best education system, being well focused into school subjects still gives the student the flexiblity of the subjects that they choose. Whilst there is a external exam every year. IB on the other hand has a lot more other extra work such as extended essay which is a massive essay that counts towards the final IB grade and 150 hours of community service required to pass IB. Other draw backs of IB is that final external exams are only held at the very end of the program which means if you screw IB final exam, you are screwed, regardless of how well you did in the internal tests, unlike NCEA which you can sit it again next year, IB requires you to either become a high school drop out of do the whole IB program again.

I represent IB haha, too good for NCEA...got into City Planning at University of Auckland...which meant I did really well haha, I believe it was pure luck and just by the fact that IB is higher valued than NCEA, no offence NCEA but the heat between IB vs NCEA has always existed, I can ensure you that I have nothing against NCEA students, in fact would have wanted to do Cambridge or NCEA, as IB was too much of a toad on life, totally drained out my spare time. IB got their results on the 6th nearly two weeks earlier, by the time NCEA got their results, I got confirmation from most of my universities.

haha Fab? does look nice in white, all of the 3 series convertibles are hard top now, IIRC the E46 were soft top? New Z4s are still soft top. -
God, I miss those NCEA days, PWNed Level1 totally...but then didnt do anymore NCEAs... Good luck for all your results, especially NCEA Level3 peeps...

wanted something newer like e39 , maybe e38
international replied to BM WORLD's topic in Want to buy
You might want to test drive the 528 first before heading up the ranks, you and your Mrs might find the 528 just enough with fuel cost this high these days, the 540 is bound to give you a higher running cost. Having driven the 528, they do pack a decent punch, I would not advise anything lower than the 2.8L. -
Just had a look at the history of the car, the current owner bought the car in March 2007 so, selling in under a year? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=92342977

I would agree, paint seems average and the kit looks so RICE... E46 M3 Grill? can someone check that?
-
Sounds like a pretty pimp'in idea, I am actually also thinking of what you have but a E30 instead of a E36 haha...
-
yea bro, looks sick, but tht 2.8L is really too weak for the 7 series chassis...
-
Yes, chances of it getting sold at the price is unlikely, there was a E36 M3 Evo 3.2L with less Ks for the same price.
-
yea bro, think of Jerry Clayton BMW with every single of one of their cars smashed up like bloody meat pulp...gutz bro!
